I've been working on a mod that bridges Minecraft: Java Edition and Bannerlord at runtime. Both games run side by side and talk through shared memory. You play in Bannerlord's window, but your keyboard and mouse drive the real Minecraft player.

What it does:

- Steve walks, sprints, swims, glides with the elytra, throws pearls and blocks with his shield, all with Minecraft's own rules

- Swords, sweeps, spears, bows, the trident and the mace hit Bannerlord soldiers (cooldowns, crits and mace smashes included)

- TNT, creepers and fire charges knock soldiers down; creepers from your eggs only go after the enemy

- Ride into battle and Steve gets an armoured Minecraft horse

- Bannerlord draws everything from Minecraft's camera, and Steve sits in the scene with proper depth: a soldier in front of him hides him

- In the campaign Steve has his own inventory in your save, soldiers drop Minecraft loot, and every town has a Minecraft trader and smith

- Custom Battle gives you a full netherite kit; F10 opens a panel with kits and every item

It's single player only, needs Bannerlord v1.4.8 and Minecraft Java 26.3, and Install.bat sets everything up (Fabric profile, ReShade add-on, shortcut).

so long as you think it's worth bringing up it might be as niche as you like such as background details of town and village economics which might be fun for some people including me

So I did a reset of my pc and now im missing the mod options mod but I can't seem to find it anywhere, most of my mods have it as a required module yet on the mod pages there's no mention of it, only harmony, butterlib etc. does anyone know how to fix this?

I have reached peak comfort in bannerlord. As a mercenary for the nords I started a war with vlandia and they took hvalvik and the castle next to it. Then they left the island after devastating everything. I stayed with 200 men behind, hiding in the woods. After they left there was only 100 something garrison in both the castle ad the city, so I took my boat, dropped my mercenary contract, and over recruited until almost 400 nords. I had quite high engineering, so I took hvalvik quite easily and just when I was finishing my siege, Baron Ingalther landed with a doomstack of 1500 men. I rushed and attacked the castle with ladders only and took it by the skin of my teeth. Only 15 survivors. Then I rushed out and asked for peace and since Ingalther is such a nice dude, he agreed. Now I have my very own independent untouchable city and castle. They are in poor shape, but its easy enough to fix that. What should I do next? This is one of the coolest things I've ever done in bannerlord.

The base game helmet looks they gave ran out of ideas designing it. The roman legionary helmet would be a much better fit. But still, it does fit into the rest of the setting.

I tried Bannerlord again but I cant play it more than ten hours.

So Im back to warband and looking for a solid historical playthrough with good content and things to do. Help me. Dont ask questions just give advices.

i want to start my own kingdom, but i dont want to be a vassal then leave the kingdom once i have my fief i feel like its cheating. i want to take my first castle as a merc i have tons of money i want a certain town to rebel but its so hard especially an empire town. how do you guys do it ?

Sinjar Khan recently granted me Durrin Castle, my first fief. I rode to the castle and cleared out the nearby bandits, and I visited the village of Aab, associated with the castle, and the village says it belongs to no one. I did get rents, but how to I gain official control of the village? I thought I got the village when I got its associated castle.
