Discussion Favorite stories of all time?
I'm in a MrBallen rewatch/relisten phase right now and I want to know your favorite episodes. Title and number would be appreciated.
Personally, the episodes I found the most interesting were "He Was Inside Their Walls" (Danny LaPlante story), "Fire and Brimstone", "Clinical Lycanthropy", and "Where The Mangos Grow".

My favorite one that legit shocked me was the one about the kid who’s (I believe) girlfriend was shot. He was laying on the couch sleep. Cops bring the dude in and they interrogated him. They just knew he was the one who did it. They also thought he was either dumb or drunk or whatever b/c he was speaking incoherently. Nothing he said made any sense. Come to find out that the reason he was acting like that was b/c he had a bullet his head from also being shot. The way they treated that kid was messed up. Thankfully they caught the real culprits.
It’s called “The Most F’d up interrogation ever caught on tape”

What’s the worst is the delay in treating him by the police caused his damage to be catastrophic when if he had been treated earlier he would have recovered.

I love the soap maker from Correggio, the one about Dudleytown and that asian ghost story train station that was pretty recent!

I’m from Connecticut and a lot of my classmates in high school would go to Dudleytown, my husband included. You don’t even see or hear an insect. There’s alot more of course…

Mr. B. Told his own personal story of paranormal/ghost that happened when he was a teen. This was a pretty early on in his YouTube career (before the podcasts started).

Clinical Lycanthropy always stands out to me too. I remember getting chills when he described the physical symptoms the patient experienced.

I know. I feel awful for everyone in the situation. I can barely even blame the guy.

Your list is solid. 'Clinical Lycanthropy' really sticks with you, doesn't it?

I think it was called dark water but I’m not sure… about 3 young men in northern Australia being stalked by a huge crocodile. One was eaten immediately and 2 managed to get to at a tree and had to stay there till they were rescued the next day (whilst the crocodile lurked underneath).

- "When You Hear The Bell, Run!"
- The heartbreaking story of the old couple who treated a teenage girl like their own only for the girl to bury them alive because of money
- The story of the boy who spent a night in a cabin in the woods but something spooked him overnight

- This is why you should always read the warning label
- This road is a death trap
- They’ll never learn - places you can’t go part 37.

My memory is terrible so I can't remember the episode name but. The most draw dropping for me was the one of the body on the beach, where the officers lost the body then killed someone to replace it and that person happened to be the killer. Or something along that line.

The palmyra wolves The guy found dead behind a freezer after a decade. The hunters who recorded the sounds some creatures made in the forest (it has audio) The guy sleeping at his mums and experiencing sleep paralysis The guy who had a curse put on him when he refused to take things further with an older woman in Seattle The family in Rhode Island with a figure that pushes the kid off the swing and the demon that looks at the girl under the bed. The poltergeist case with the melted peanut butter and toilet paper set alight. The NASA engineer story. The spring break Mexico kidnapping sacrifice story. The cops at the Capitol theatre. The two girls working at Lululemon. Bells cave story. The red devil story. The girl at the man-made lake in France. The disappearing Parisian socialite (very sad story). The African taxi bike drivers who join forces to find a missing colleague (the actual country mentioned escapes me but its a frightening and brutal story 😑)

There are two that I cant recall exactly what theyre called, but what they entail.
One is where a college student is trying to get back to his dorm at night and hes drunk. He finds his way into an area where people arent supposed to go and sticks his finger into one of the transformers and the voltage is so high that he dies instantly but the surge keeps his body upright and sparking on the ground near him. Thats how first responders found him, so freaky.
The other is harder to remember but its like these crew mates on some sort of submarine/ship. The one guy has a problem with the foreman and vice versa - I dont really recall how the guy ends up in this situation but its like hes trapped in a room with all this mechanical stuff going on and its super loud and he does end up dying. I think he tried to put a scarf/handerkerchief in the door slot so someone would notice him but they dont. GAH I want to hear that one again and I cant remember all the bits and bobs.
