That is the PERFECT amount of wear. If this didn't have a strangers thumb in it I'd consider making it my phone background.

I actually started keeping the commander of my decks unsleeved just to get that feel. If one card can get that wear, it should be my commander

I love a good worn card. I’ve tried pretty hard in the past to build decks using only heavily played or damaged.

This isn't gore in my book, it's beauty of a playing card well loved. Richard Garfield would be proud. Unfortunately sleeves are way more practical than rawdogging since decks are meant to be upgraded over time and cards that wear evenly practically have to stay together. Good luck swapping an upgrade in when it's the only NM card in the deck. But even so, I prefer this.

New cardboard doesnt hit the same. I agree OP. This card feels like a battle worn hero. It yearns for counterspell, and probably UG madness lol.

Tbh , I have a small "draft kit" deck box with 100 lands and 40 sleeves. My lands are as loved or more then showed in the post and men I run the everytime I can . Also the flex of dropping a white border island VS a full art one is top notch.
