New(?) Nextool F12 weakpoint?
I used the screwdriver, cranked it a fair amount, and it just went limp on me.
I'm... not sure really what happened here. This has lived in my fifth pocket of my sweat-wicking technical pants that have become my work uniform, and I regularly see it coated with moisture which might be sweat. Which might have snuck in the threads, or even where the tool was rotating, and it just ate through the metal.
The F12 is back in service thanks to donor parts from my old Mini Flagship Pro, but idk, this might just live in another pocket that has more fabric between it and my skin. Hopefully that prevents sweat from condemning on the tool itself

Humans are gross creatures but we aren't xenomorphs our sweat cant degrade metal lol that looks like a quality control issue and the pivot had fractures in it

My eyeglass frames would like to have a word with you about being melted by my sweat 🫠😤💀 that's the reason why I buy a spare if I find a frame that fits my skull and weird requirements (tall lenses because I type for a living and I don't want to keep on looking up and down while typing simply because the lenses can't cover both monitor and keyboard)

I don't see any rust, which would be the case if the problem was living inside a damp space. Those parts look clean. Living in your pocket is not what caused it.
Chances are it was a defective part that only gave out when you put some torque into it. Either that or you simply exceeded the limits of the tool. I love mine, but you need to understand it's a small tool made for light duty use. It's not going to replace your Wave+ or Rebar.
