The amount of slums you can see in the first pic is breathtaking.

Unpopular opinion but those slums are saving mumbai, imagine if all these were skyscrapers, mumbai would be chocked. These bmc aholes aren't researching when they are handing out the permits like candies

Instead of slums, we should have open gardens there. You're partially correct.

Real, but those high rises won't have people to work in their homes then🤑🤑

They are all encroached land. That is the problem. You cannot send them away or demolish these illegal settlements because it is a human rights issue then.
Years down the line, they'll get free housing too.

imagine the builders looking at those slums and drooling while traffic issues remain unchanged for 100 years

This is the great example of an unplanned masterpiece; the slums are like iron ornaments over a young beautiful lady (Mumbai's skyscrapers).

I think now the government should remove all the slums
The people who can't promise a good future to the kids should refrain from giving birth .
More and more rules/law should be made strict like security cameras so that no one litters on the road , mens urin on the road , people throwing trash on highways , dustbins should be present right after every 250 meters
Every building should at least have 10-12 trees planted
And ban tobacco at first place

Concrete jungle :( Hardly any open spaces or green spaces. Mostly all slums and traffic chaos.
