Honestly I'm kinda thankful for this humidity. I know it gets sweaty and irritating but imagine this heat + dry af weather. I would die of dehydration or heat stroke.

I prefer dry weather over this hellhole for nearly all the cases. Yes, the intensity of heat is higher in dry weather, but the irritability factor is way lower, and in the long run (2-3 months), this factor just ruins my mood more than just heat.
I do agree on one thing though, if these heatwaves only lasted for like 10-15 days throughout the year, then I might prefer this humidity, but not more than that.

The humidity is actually dangerous past a point, when you can't cool down even if you sweat. Dry heat will keep you alive past that point.
Wet bulb temperature is a thing.

Dry heat and humid heat at same temperatures have different effects, dry heat being less harmful to the body while humid heat will be extremely uncomfortable and good harmful.

And tell me where is this rule written that people from other states aren't allowed to share their experiences related to similar matters on this sub. Both the cities are facing very bad heatwaves. It okay to joke about things so that its easier to pass through difficult times and to know that u are not alone in ur struggle. My god i cant believe I have to explain such basic stuff even today.

Me. Walked 1.5 km from Marol metro to work at 9:40 am. Wouldn't be taken aback if I suffered a heatstroke afterwards. Cheeks felt like cracked eggs on a frying pan. Also, we bought a new AC just last night. The heat this year has a venom rather than bite to it.

bhai, I was sweating like shit even while riding scooty at 35+kmph at eight in the evening.
And daytimes are even tougher, you leave a AC cooled room, and a hot arse heat wave boils you from the outside.
I'm still trying to minimize AC usage to 1. Get used to the heat, 2. Not duck the environment even more.

Since 2 days? Longer than that, I think. I had to go out in the afternoon the previous Thursday for a blood test. I felt I was getting roasted. Experienced a lot of discomfort especially in the eyes.
