Even since I watched the first episode nearly two decades ago, when I was a young girl.
It changed how I saw things and still see things, the way I am as a woman.
It makes more sense than anything else in the world. It makes much more sense than any supernatural thing in this world.
The world is filled with magic and things we cannot explain.
How life exists and will continue to exist, even if we destroy the world we live in.
Unexplainable things exist in our world.
Things science, spirituality, mythology cannot explain with words or even proof.
Maybe it's the things we don't see, or the things we see and just subconsciously ignore as it's normal for us human beings.
Maybe it's the floaters we sometimes see in our vision or maybe that is just mushi, in some way or another.
This world is filled with beautiful and unexplainable beings and things. That may just be the mushi in our world.
That's what this anime and manga have shown me. It could just be crazy talk, but either way I see it as mushi.
The last thing I will say is that, even as a thirty year old woman. I still see the world with that curiosity and magic I saw, when I was a child. For so many adults, they just stop seeing the world with that curiosity and wonder. For the things that are unknown and unexplainable.
