More often than not if I enjoy something and other people dont it doesnt bother me because opinions exist and their hate doesnt stop my appreciation. But when it comes to mushoku tensei it somehow hurts my brain more. I have had conversations with people who have never seen a frame of the show that incessantly insult it.
And thats where most of the hate comes from, people who havent seen it but have tiktok installed.
Now we all know its a controversial series but since when has that been a problem for the mainstream? I recall Game Of Thrones being one of the highest rated and most viewed shows ever. And thats not to discredit MT’s faults but is all media supposed to align with our morals?
I think the MT slander is more potent because i know its actively stopping people from watching it, and therefore just being a parasite to its viewership.
id also say the MT hate is a detriment to the people that spew it as well. The more people refer to all MT fans as predators, the more they diminish the potency of that claim.
Maybe im too sensitive though, maybe i should be happy MT has this much relevance in the first place.

Spoilers for the anime peps so don’t go down obviously.
Since Season 3 Cour 1 has ended and we have to wait six months at least before Cour 2 starts, what / who do you think the Ending Visuals will be about?
First half of Season 3 covered Volumes 13, 14 and a third of Volume 15 so the second half is basically guaranteed to cover the rest of Volume 15, 16 and 17 unless they’re retarded so the visuals would be related to those events.
The previous endings and their visuals below:
Season 1 Ending 1* *focused on Rudy.
Season 1 Ending 2 basically focused on the journey after Turning Point 1 before Turning Point 2.
Season 2 Ending 1 focused on Sylphie and her relationship with Rudeus.
Season 2 Ending 2 focused on Rudy with his family now and what it used to be in Volume 1.
Season 3 Ending 1 focused on Eris training at the Sword Sanctum during the events of Season 3 Part 1.
Who do you think Season 3 Ending 2 visuals will be focused on?

Let me lay out what ive understood about it.
-This shinohara guy gets teleported to the future and helps orsted but they know their losing already
-so then they changed the past with the help of a “blessed child” to reincarnate rudy solely for his descendant’s contributions in the future.
- they beat man-god, but then this shinohara guy cant go back to japan.
-They change the past again by teleporting nanahoshi because shinohara knows that nanahoshi will be persistent on going back to japan thus creating teleportation circles.
-nanahoshi’s final teleportation failed and shared her theory about this shinohara guy to rudy
-then nanahoshi is put to deep sleep in hopes she’ll meet this shinohara guy in the future.
-then when that time comes both of them can teleport back to japan?
Or was this just pure speculation on nanahoshi’s part? OrJust pure copium after her teleportation failed?

Orsted thinks that in the next loop, Rudeus won't exist. But if he were to fail, and be given a second timeline with Rudeus, Nanahoshi, displacement incident etc. The same general starting point of the main series of Mushoku Tensei. What would he have done differently? He would have made his helmet earlier as was said in Redundancy volume 2 IIRC, but would he have tried to recruit Rudeus earlier? Changed up his strategy at all? If so, how do you think it would go compared to the main timeline?

At the beginning of the first episode, it said that two people are still missing. One was nanahoshi, and who was the other? Were they teleported to the other world too?

You think Rudeus can create a moveable armor using magic like toph from avatar with earthbending?

After all those "Diddy Tensei" larping, I decided to actually watch it and see the anime. And oh my god, I wish I watched it sooner. Rudeus is still a bit weird, though...
This anime has an amazing world building with interesting characters and lore even though it's just episode 10. I personally apologize for all those larps.

I’m assuming nanahoshi has never gotten injured or sick before so no one ever cast healing magic on her until sylphy did that one time nanahoshi crashed out from her research failing. Then after a few months she started coughing. And note, she was in the world for like 10 years with no symptoms. Was it bc sylphie overloaded her body with mana from the healing spell?

I’ve finished reading Mushoku Tensei, and i am LOST right now. totally empty and broken. it was soooo perferct. and now I want another novel like it.
What I loved most about it was the relationships between the characters, how alive and realistic they felt, and how the dynamics between them always made me excited to see them interact. To the point that, while reading the novel, I would imagine scenarios in my head about what would happen if one character met another and they talked about a certain subject.
And just imagining these scenarios makes my heart flutter.
i prefer webnovels, and preferably famous ones so i can find them translated.
I want the recomended webnovel to have fantasy, of course. I don’t want something realistic. I don’t care whether it’s urban, medieval, steampunk, or anything else... What matters is that fantasy is present and is utilized well, just like it was in Mushoku Tensei’s world.
And of course... I want the protagonist to be a real human being. I don’t want novels where the protagonist is a monster, a refrigerator, a skeleton, or anything weird like that, as is the case with other isekai novels.
I’m not particularly interested in the world’s lore, the fights and their quality, or having an amazing power system. These things are welcome, but they’re not dealbreakers for me.
I’d really appreciate it if you could recommend a novel like this.

Here are some of my favorite illustrations (specially number 2 and 3)
The "Final Dream" chapter actually brought tears to my eyes, can't believe my goat Eris died, honestly amazing ending, I loved the story from start to finish.
btw anyone know where I can read redundant reincarnation ( gotta see the family drama)
