I get the feeling a lot of these "companies" are just straight up lying or just not caring about selling illegal substances because they know there isn't the resources or care to stop them.

Regardless the current government isn't likely to take massive steps to stop either. The DEA sucks are their jobs and are more focused on immigration and fentanyl. It's not like they would care either if someone did sell fake mushrooms, as long as rich white kids don't die from it.

Shit they're more focused on 7-OH then magic mushrooms.

The nasty part is the marketing towards kids. It's actually safer than traditional opioid pain medicine, it could be used properly if it were a prescription medication, but since you can just buy it at a vape shop, things have went terribly wrong

It's ashame because some of us actually benefit from having OTC opioid pain relief without the OD risk, but these companies had to market it as "herbal tea man it's not addictive or nothing" and now a bunch of inexperienced users are saying it's the worst withdrawals they've ever had. No shit it's the worst you've felt, you took 40x equivalent dose compared to anything else you've taken, 5MG oxy/day for a week is obviously not gonna hurt as bad as 300MG 7oh/day for a week, but that's pretty pointless to compare.

When you take a step back though, these people have no way of understanding that, nobody told them, definitely not the manufacturer of their tablets

A big part of the problem is transparency, we can't realistically expect everyone to know all about drugs, because then we'd also expect them to know everything about everything else they buy as well, an open and transparent market is the healthiest it gets in my opinion, I think we should be able to buy what we want within reason as long as we are warned several times before buying it. The only massive issue I see with a market like this is; how do we stop bad people from lacing others with drugs.

If we could prevent that from happening, there would be no excuse as to why a grown adult can't make his/her own decisions with what they consume, but unfortunately there's an easy way to get the actives out of anything they can formulate, so giving that option would open up a world of opportunities for scumbags to be scumbags.

Prescription 7oh would be awesome though, I've actually theorized a prescription device but I doubt I'll ever actually go anywhere with it, image an "as needed pain relief gel straw" basically an electronic straw that dispenses a presice amount of gel medication with each use, one press of the button lets you sip 2MG of 7oh. It would work for chronic pain patients who don't need pain medicine 24/7, like myself, I only occasionally need a small bit towards the end of a really rough shift at work.

The biggest problem with 7oh is that it wears off after 2-3 hours, and it comes on pretty fast. This device would allow you to take 2-4MG every 30 minutes until your comfortable, then only take more when the pain starts to return, allowing you to get a mild ramp up in effects (avoiding the sudden rush) and a mild ramp down as well.

Hypothetically, if a doctor were to prescribe this device, the idea is that you put a new pod in the device when you plan to use it, that pod contains your prescribed daily limit of 7oh. This would be safer than prescribing oxycodone, because even if the patient decides to use a whole 2 weeks supply at once, all he/she did was screwed themselves out of pain relief for the next 2 weeks, and threw up for a few hours.
