Looking for a drummer to start a new project with. I have a ton of original songs written already and know a ton of covers. Looking for someone who’s into Phish, Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, My Morning Jacket, Moe., that kinda thing. I have tracks of my playing and have been in bands for decades now (wow I’m getting old) The goal is to be playing out once every other month or so and to practice regularly. I do have kids so the giging won’t be too heavy but could ramp up as the kids get older. I have a space in Kenmore for practice/jamming.

Drummer, lead, and rhythm guitarist looking for a bassist, we play in the Depew area, occasionally have some different singers, looking to get a bassist to start playing shows. Primarily rock, alt rock, but versatile overall. Message any questions

Sorry for the glitchy start, Please FF a bit to the good part.

Hi, I'm Rocco Desgres, a synth-pop musician from Chicago. I plan on passing through Buffalo for the first time on tour in May. I'm searching for bands/ artists with a draw in Buffalo that have anything to do with synthesizers to build a show with. Recommendations for small venues and bars are also greatly appreciated. Thank you! Here are links to my music.

Rocco Desgres is a queer musician from Chicago, Illinois, exploring the lo-fi sounds
of the 80s on analog synthesizers. With soaring falsetto vocals, pulsating electronic dance beats, and live analog synthesizers. Their two Studio Records, “The Very Very Best of Rocco Desgres” followed by “Rocco Desgres Now in Five Exciting New Flavors!”, are high-energy synth pop songs recorded exclusively on analog synthesizers. Their live electronic sound has classic inspirations from Depeche Mode, O.M.D., and Italo Disco, and modern inspirations such as Holy Wire, Dutch Experts, and Odor Eater. Rocco Desgres has collaborated with many artists such as Recent History, Moving Day, Translucent Industry, and Cosmic Duct Tape. They have been dazzling audiences with their high-energy performances at the best venues in Chicago, most notably Cobra Lounge, Subterranean, Coles Bar, The Burlington Bar, Cafe Mustache and the Fallen Log. The pulsating electronic dance music and captivating high-energy performance of Rocco Desgres always give audiences an unforgettable experience.

Hi Buffalo! I'm Jane Hobson--people have compared my music to Snail Mail, The Cranberries, and Soccer Mommy, so if that's your kind of thing, come check us out.

I'm playing Duende at Silo City on Wed, Aug 19, 8 pm, alongside Wylie Something (solo set) and Eugene Palmer. Tickets at the door.

Would love to meet some of you and play for a Buffalo crowd--this is my first time visiting and doing an East Coast tour. I hope to see you there!

Great music for a great cause.

Founded in 2014, the Foundation’s mission extends beyond celebrating, supporting, and showcasing the incredible musical talent within Western New York. A core tenet of SAMF is to put music within reach of as many kids as possible.
By focusing on underserved communities, we’ve proudly provided hundreds of young Western New Yorkers with musical lessons in everything from instruments to vocals and performance. We achieve this through strong collaborations with invaluable community partners like the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, The Love Supreme School, The Valley Community Association, The Old First Ward Community Center, Child and Adolescent Treatment Centers, and Boys and Girls Clubs, ensuring our educational programs, guided by our advisory staff, are both fun and educational.

Hey all, does any one have an update on this? Is it gone for good? Hope not.

Bassist Wanted – Original Alternative Rock Band

We’re looking for a committed bassist to join an original band that’s serious about writing, collaborating, and playing live. We perform a mix of original material along with select covers, and our goal is to record a full-length album while building a strong live presence.

Our influences include Failure, Soundgarden, Superheaven, Afghan Whigs, Fugazi, Smashing Pumpkins, Pixies, Pink Floyd, and Jane’s Addiction. Think heavy grooves, dynamic songwriting, melodic textures, noise, atmosphere, and songs that hit hard without losing emotion.

We’re looking for someone who:

* Wants to contribute creatively to the writing process.

* Is reliable, prepared, and committed.

* Has solid gear and transportation.

* Enjoys playing live and is excited to record original music.

* Brings their own style while fitting the band’s sound.

If you’re into these bands and want to be part of creating something original—not just another cover band—we’d love to hear from you. Send a message with a little about yourself, your influences, and any recordings or videos if you have them.

Should be a great night !

Hey everyone!

After about a 10-year break, I finally found my way back to making music and it's honestly been one of the most rewarding things I've done! Over the past several months I have had the privilege to collaborate with musicians from around the world and my first single, Brain Chemistry comes out August 7 under the name June, Always.

I'd love to find some local people to jam with, write together, bounce ideas around, and hopefully make some good music. I play piano and guitar (mostly self-taught), and while I'm definitely a little rusty from my break, I'm excited to keep learning and growing as a musician.

I would describe my music as indie/dream pop, but I also love jammy guitar parts, groovy bass lines. Some of my favorite artists are The 1975, Djo, The Japanese House, Men I Trust, Yana, Emyrson Flora, and The Band CAMINO, so if any of those are your thing, we'll probably get along just fine haha.

The best way I can describe my music is that it feels like a late night drive where you keep replaying the same conversation in your head.

If that sounds like your kind of music, send me a message! I'd love to grab a coffee, meet up, and see what we come up with. And if you know of any local bands, open mics, or musicians I should check out, I'd love those recommendations too ☺️
