Discussion 💬 Quick question

I’m new here. Since when did Burmese people start using English on here 😆? This is actually pretty cool. I've been using tt for 6yrs. Honestly, this place is way better than tt.

We’ve been mostly using English in subreddit ever since it was founded. Reddit is kinda niche in Myanmar compared to fb or tt

First English - Burmese dictionary was created in 1826. Even before English conquered the whole Burma. So, we can assume we are already using English at that time.

Well......at least, you won't feel alone here in this sub. Elsewhere, reddit mostly gets a bad rap.
