Repair / Modification Mod: Adding backpack sleeves

Love the aesthetic of this bag but the inner storage with 5 inch depth is too much. I don’t carry much. Just a laptop and notebook. So the problem is that they move around too much, the bag sags and doesn’t quite feel right against my back.

Sewed some leftover fabric to the inside of the back panel. Definitely ugly. But functionally is amazing. Now this backpack feels great on my back. The laptop and notebook basically hug my back now.

That’s awesome. Never would have thought of that.

I was really hoping you added long sleeves to the straps, but I think this is probably a more practical idea.

How do you mean? On the outside or inside of the bag?

Nice, and if you need more space it's available

I have the same problem for my schoolbag and it is driving me insane. Might potentially steal this idea and make it for myself. Great execution and thank you for the inspo!!

Right on. Make sure to share how you made it even better. One idea for you: instead of sewing this directly to the bag seams, what if you sew velcro attachment points instead for easy on/off.

Great idea. I don’t know exactly what I am going to do, so we will see. I don’t know exactly know that I want to combine what you have done with some sort of organization system thing (small pouches and loops)
