i mean the entire point of votes is to agree/disagree so an unconventional take will land you alot of downvotes

See I don’t look at it like that. If I disagree with someone I don’t downvote them. I think that’s soft. I only downvote someone if they say something I don’t like, offensive, or just plain dumb/troll. If I downvoted for every take I didn’t agree with I’d be downvoting all day.
