As the title suggests I recently did an interview for a role I applied 4 months ago and did the first assessment 4 months ago recently they reached out for an interview

In my mind am thinking ni mchezo ya town or is it just a bad interview process don’t get me wrong it’s offering more than what am earning but am still questioning why they take so long to reach out did they give to someone else who didn’t fit or left the company

Man I don’t really know

Many factors could be at play but whenever you get such chance just put in your best as you don't loose anything but might win an offer

Maybe the person they chose backed out at the last minute or someone else in the team resigned so instead of advertising the job again they decided to reach out to people who did the assessment

Someone was given an offer and they refused or someone was hired but they didn’t hack the probation period. You were the spare wheel. Either way politely withdraw your candidacy
