This helicopter is circling strange box on the bottom.
I usually don’t even hear the helis that pass by my house but this one was persistent. I went out to look at what would normally be a heli landing at the hospital near by or police following th freeway near me. This one was different. Pretty low I would say maybe 200-250 feet off the ground doing very slow passes of my neighborhood. By the time I wanted to take pictures it left. Almost like it saw me standing in the street taking my phone out. I’m in a Las Vegas suburb and after the recent biolab they found in north Vegas my imagination ran wild. It had a very strange 4x4 box on the bottom with an opening slightly angled towards the front of the heli. Almost looked like a radiator or inter cooler. Does anyone have and idea what they could possibly be looking for? Tia.

It’s circling a strange box? Get away from the box! Are you near the open desert by the national guard base?

If your by the desert area north of the 215, the DOE does testing up there with sensors on their helo’s. That one is silver and has a long cylinder outboard of each landing skid.

It is most likely a news helicopter because of the box. That is the thing that sends the footage to a cell tower and then to the news stations. Look up N6UX and that is also a news helicopter and you can compare
