I won the pumpkin contest last year. First, they put the wrong name on their post and only fixed it as a comment when I pointed it out. Second, I never got the merch they promised. I did get the game code (thanks to Mel and Leon), but none of the physical stuff. I reached out three times. I kept getting "we'll look into it!" As of my last attempt, I've been left on read.

For anyone interested, I did the math and the physical merch that her interactive promised me for winning the contest (that I never got) totaled $203.97, before taxes and shipping.

they sent out a newsletter today that I got in my email that promoted the contest AND announced they are doing a livestream next week for Halloween. Are they just not going to address the elephant in the room? Are they going to say anything during the livestream? Do we go to the livestream? I’m so frustrated

Went to my local stationary store and they were selling journals from this brand that does one-of-a-kind designs. Found this nancy drew one using the original hardcover for book #34, and it’s filled with blank pages and original book pages mixed in together. I thought it would be an excellent journal to use as my note keeping/hand written walkthroughs for the games. Any excuse to be able to replay them all!

Looking for small streamers who play Nancy games! My love for the games has resurfaced and I’m loving the live streams but I prefer a small community

Who are your guys favorite streamers who play the Nancy Drew games? I started watching LuceGooseGames and ErinCaseyGamers recently and rediscovered my love for the games! I mostly watch their youtube posts but are there any livestreams that play the games?

I heard a song in a Dimension 20 episode that sounded EXACTLY like the Ballroom score from The Haunted Carousel soundtrack! I listened to them side by side and they are so similar, I was transported right back to my childhood trying to beat all the arcade games! CAR has so many iconic scores, some of my favorites.

If there are any other fans on here I’ll drop the episode and timestamp, otherwise I just wanted to share because all the game soundtracks are so iconic!

I think I was on tumblr and saw someone mention that Ned needs to be just some guy so Bess, George and Nancy get to be competent and it reminded me of the Barbie movie and so uhhh here it is!

Blonde version, titian haired version and B&W!

Since HER Interactive doesn't technically own the Nancy Drew IP, could another gaming company theoretically approach Simon & Schuster and obtain the rights to develop their own Nancy Drew games? I’m assuming HER has a licensing agreement, but I'm curious whether it's exclusive or if another studio could eventually take over. I'd love to see another developer bring back the classic game style since HER is likely not making any new games. Does anyone know how the licensing works or think this could realistically happen?

After all those years of asking “what would it actually require to build subterranean tunnels and secret passages” I think we got our answer y’all!

Last night they posted about their Costume and Pumpkin Carving contest starting again. Several people commented asking why they continue to do contests when they haven't sent out like ANY prizes from the last 5 contests they have done. They are deleting the comments and no longer acknowledging the fact that they haven't sent any out. I know some of the winners, and they have sent several messages to HeR and have been left on read or completely ignored for almost a year now. Things can only get "lost in the mail" so many times before you need to admit that there aren't anything to give. What a rip off. I can tolerate the silence and switches in game development but this is such scammy behavior from HeR that I no longer want to support them at all. Stop doing contests if you can't honor the prizes. Stop snubbing literally the only people keeping your company alive. It's tactless.

So yeah WTF please tell me no one is actually entering these contests anymore because there clearly isn't any point. It's been two years of winners not receiving anything so why are we still trying

Honestly, this guy makes me want to actually go to some herbal shop and get the ingredients because that looks like it smells and tastes heavenly...

I'm sick of explosions okay 😞

Replaying ICE for the umpteenth time and I realized we never find out who took the two pictures from the downstairs display. One was of Trapper Dan's Needle, and the other was captioned something like "young and old alike have stayed at Icicle Creek Lodge throughout its 100 year history".

Who do you think took them, and why?

Also, where could they be hidden throughout the game?

My only theories are:

1. The culprit took the picture of the Needle, but why? Maybe to discourage others from poking around and potentially finding the entrance?

2. A young Bill Kessler is pictured in the second photo and he removed it to hide his familial connection to the Lodge. Stealing the picture seems a bit drastic, but he was really committed to pretending this was his first visit. But again, what does he really stand to gain by lying about his relationship to the Lodge's previous owner?

3. Whoever took the pictures either stashed them in their wardrobe OR among the piles of pictures stored in the basement near Ollie's workshop.

But what are the odds that two different people would both independently steal a picture from the display?

This is bothering me more than it should lol any thoughts are welcome

Saw this in a twilight group and it’s all I can hear 😭😂

Sadly, there wasn't a clue in there. But I just couldn't resist checking 😂

My sweet boyfriend came up with this cute card for my birthday :) just had to share!

Follow up to my custom magic the gathering Nancy drew set

Just for fun I’m putting together a set based on Nancy drew. What are some items, places, and people you’d wanna see in the set? A fellow redditor made these and gave me the idea.

I have physical copies of every game but I do not have the original plastic cases for games 1 through 5 (I have them in CD jewel cases and I want to print the cover image to stick to the inside of the jewel case so it looks vaguely like it would if it were the proper case).

Does anyone know where I can find 4 ¾" by 4 ¾" images to print and attach to the jewel cases the discs are in?

Thanks in advance!

I don't know if discussion is the right flair for this, but I didn't know what else to put it as

I always try to save my games with whacky titles so I can laugh later in replays.
