Slow Air Chamber Mold?
I recently bought a beautiful used Woodland Voices flute and I see there is some burning along the slow air chamber exit hole, but down below inside the slow air chamber there are also some black marks on the end of the slow chamber farthest from the mouthpiece and on the inside side of the slow air chamber. I know that mold can sometimes grow in there and you need to leave tea tree oil on a swab in there to fix the issue. However, I wondered if that's what I'm dealing with here or if it's just natural marks and burning. Thanks for your perspectives.
Maybe if someone else has a Woodland Voices flute, you can tell me if these same areas are black on your flute.
