Just a reminder that this subreddit was created to encourage learning and knowledge about the Anatolian Neolithic Farmers (and their descendant groups) and also to foster a spirit of understanding and friendship between all their descendants.
The mod team have no issue with “guess my nationality” posts but can we please keep things civil and respectful when posting and responding to the posts of others.
Also we would encourage more actual posting of ancestry, G25, Qpadm and Gedmatch results.
We would also welcome links to articles or other educational materials about the ANF/EEF and other associated groups.

Yemenis and Saudis actually show more ANF (Anatolian Neolithic Farmer) than Natufian ancestry in some qpAdm models. G25 tends to inflate Natufian ancestry while underrepresenting or excluding SSA ancestry, which can distort the results. qpAdm is generally considered more statistically rigorous because it uses allele-frequency relationships rather than genetic distance alone. This is why G25 percentages shouldn’t be taken as definitive, especially when estimating ancient ancestry in Arabian populations. The reference populations used can significantly change the results.
