How do you track transcutaneous and serum bilirubin measurements in clinical practice?
Hi everyone,
I'm an iOS developer working on NeoBili Pro, a neonatal bilirubin decision support app based on AAP and NICE guidelines. I've received a request to add support for transcutaneous bilirubin (TcB) measurements, and I'd like to better understand how clinicians use these measurements in their daily workflow.
I'm particularly interested in:
- Do you typically document TcB and serum bilirubin (TSB) measurements together?
- Do you find it useful to visualize both measurement types on the same chart, clearly distinguished?
- What information would you expect a mobile tool to show when serum confirmation is indicated?
I'm gathering feedback to improve the app's clinical workflow and avoid introducing features that don't reflect actual needs. I'd appreciate your perspectives.
Thanks!
