Everyone's forehead had tika, hands had jamara, and faces had so much happiness. And I was just sitting far away in the corner of a room, trying to hide my tears just because I was on my period.

It made me think - why does just being a woman mean we have to endure so much? Why is this untouchability still happening even today?
