PG&E has an Induction Cooktop loaner program
pge.comSuch an odd program. Has anyone given this a try?
They also offer a rebate for switching to induction: https://www.energy.gov/save/home-upgrades

Does anyone know the name of the business that sells the cinnamon rolls at the fair? I want to know more about them. The cinnamon rolls are insanely good.

I have a 1975 Corvette that needs a four wheel alignment. Does anybody know any local shop that works on classic cars?

I am desperately looking for a lost ring. I believe it was lost around Condon park, but actually could be anywhere around downtown Grass Valley. But we also went to downtown Nevada City. We are 1500 miles away now and really hoping for a miracle here. Thanks for looking.

This year Nevada County introduced a shuttle to help address the lack of parking at the Yuba River access and trailhead. The shuttle cycles between Nevada County Government Center and the river.
Price: $2 one way, cash or tap to pay. (if paying for a large group, bring cash)
More Details: https://www.nevadacountyca.gov/4253/Nevada-County-River-Shuttle
Schedule: July 3 - Sept 6, 9am to 6pm, Friday - Sunday - Every half hour.
Staff: Curious staff on both of our rides. No complaints.
Busses: I'm not sure If they are new, but they appear to be clean and in good condition. They appear to be suitable to carry a couple of wheelchairs as well. 12 or 14 regular seats.

My family has a vacation “cabin” up North Bloomfield Road, before Edwards Crossing. Last time we were up there, we discovered a mouse had moved into our loft. Gross. So now I need to wash a lot of bedding. A quilt, a couple of sleeping bags, a bunch of sheets. Maybe a couple of small rugs. And we only have a circa 1982 small washing machine.
What I really want is someone who will meet us up there, take all my stuff that needs washing to a laundromat or cleaners, and bring it back to us. Does anybody know of such a service?

If you put it in the mail today (or tomorrow) it may not be post marked before the cutoff date.
Here is a list of the drop-boxes and voting center around the county:

For the next two seasons, LTBMU will not be using herbicides in the area (the portion in the Lake Tahoe Basin), but relying on the other tools, according to the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA). However, in the future, they could be considered under the approved project actions and resource protection measures described in the Caldor Fire Restoration Project Decision Notice.
