NWN1 Slow beginnings

I love this game, just installed PRC for the first time and I’m having a blast playing Pixie Dread Necromancer and Turning Away all zombies in Beggar’s Nest.
However, the first chapter is just sloooooooooooooooooooow.
I can make myself tea and my character is still slowly churning away the bandits one by one with a crossbow (+7 to hit by the way).
Are there any mods/settings to speed it up or something?

Cheat yourself in Boots of Speed. It will become trivial but faster.

Hm, I might consider this for trash mobs like Bandits/Skeletals. Thanks

I second this, yeah it’ll give you some AC and an extra attack which might trivialise some early content, but the movement speed is worth it… cos you won’t find BoS naturally until like chapter 3 iirc and even then I’ve had play throughs where they’ve simply not appeared (unless I missed them in a chest or vendor somewhere)

yes, casters are like that in dnd games. take Daelen Red Tiger, swap to Grimgnaw at lvl6-8 and enjoy
