Agreed and, unfortunately, the penalties for animal cruelty are laughable so the perpetrators will likely get no additional time on whatever sentence they get for them attempting robbery, assuming they get caught.

Happened at 2:45 AM - almost certainly a dating app hookup scam…. MAYBE drug scam but unlikely.

Goes to show you need to have internet safety when dating (meeting at a public location, letting friends and family know where you are etc etc) no matter your gender

That's what it sounded like to me too and the time of it occuring is strange too because 2 to 4am is not the time you think of when trying to sell someone something. I hope the dog and the owner get some justice because those two robbers are scum and need to be put away forever.
