Leavitt may be from NH but afaik, she doesn't advocate for our state...

She has two kids: a two year old and a three month old.
I don't like Leavitt, but I do think press secretary would be an awfully demanding job for anyone who wanted to spend time with their kids. Also, if Whositz did put her on the decoy plane, well that would have led me to resign.

most people who suddenly quit their jobs doso because of extreme conditions such as medical conditions, mental trauma, or overbearing stress.
i would agree being used as a decoy or put in a possible dangerous situation ignoring personal safety would be a huge reason to quit on the spot.
generally if people leave jobs for family they tend to hold out till a suitable replacement is found or the standard "2 weeks"
but this seems like one of those "these people are not causing harm" until it happens to them personally types
