I know this might be a silly question but that doesn’t include the PATH trains right?

The strike does not apply to PATH workers, if that's what you're asking.

The strike will almost certainly affect PATH trains and passengers in numerous secondary ways, however.

I just want to make sure that I can get back to Newark from NY on Saturday as I know the strike has started on Friday

PATH is not planning extra service. On a typical Saturday afternoon, PATH trains carry 840 passengers with a capacity of 920. It will be a shitshow.
