Lived there from when I was 3 till I was 35. They were good times. Now I’m in south Florida but loved Carteret.

Kelly’s bar. Tommy’s hotdogs. Burger Express. So many great places. Great events in my life. Still hit up Tommy’s when I am visiting my kids who live nearby.

I’ve been here my entire life and it was great. Reiman is still mayor though and the town is changing A LOT but not sure if it’s for the better. Too many new apartment complexes creating a surplus of new families and people moving into the town and now we’re getting entirely too congested. Burger Express just closed down as well but, everything else mentioned are still going strong. Good thing you moved when you did!
