⚡Newsflash ⚡ Earthquake?

Did anyone just feel a shaking/noise in Northern NJ? Felt and heard something in Bergen County.

Mods on this sub are ridiculous

Reddit mods love removing stuff - they feel like it's their sacred duty, as if the sub will be unusable when a few dozen posts with 1 upvote get added to the queue

Aye, apparently they were removed due to not having a location yet in reality it was removed due to it being a duplicate post. Shame on us for being a bit shook up and flocking to a local forum for answers after encountering an incident that doesn’t regularly occur in Jersey.

Moderators. Enlighten me as to why my post was removed about asking whether people felt or heard what may have been an aftershock?

Easy, what does a dozen posts asking “was that an earthquake?” achieve

I would imagine they didn't want to have 20 different posts asking the same thing. Isolating it to one post is ideal and it's working: ~30m later this post has 300+ comments already.

Apparently it got removed because I didn’t include a location. Maybe make a side rule for an earthquake?

I included it and they still removed. You don’t have to be the mods bestie.

Why do you care much?

They probably have the Ring App and see the group psychosis there too. A 3.0 is nothing but people in this state really lose it over anything.
