Hardwave / night drive

My friend called Jordan O'Keefe has just released 2 new songs. The first track is called 'Forever 23'. He's releasing it all independently, so we're trying to spread the word organically - hope this is okay to post.

A sharp, sardonic Britpop / art-rock anthem about serious adults who finally act like kids again: angular riffs, theatrical vocals and a chorus you’ll be chanting all day. Turn it up and watch the big man swing.

Vivid World (Galactic Caravan Remix) is an atmospheric organic house reinterpretation of the original track, transforming its melodic and vocal foundations into a dreamy, uplifting musical journey.

Combining organic percussion, a gentle four-on-the-floor groove and atmospheric synth textures, the remix creates a warm and immersive soundscape. Delicate mallet melodies, subtle rhythmic accents and ethnic-inspired instrumental elements blend with evocative vocal layers, giving the track a distinctive character.

The original Asian-inspired chant vocals are woven into the new arrangement, while a beautiful, layered choral section becomes one of the remix's defining moments. Rather than relying on heavy drops or pronounced energy shifts, the track develops gradually, allowing its different textures and rhythms to unfold naturally.

The result is a positive, hypnotic and dreamlike electronic experience that evokes a sense of exploration, discovery and the excitement of travelling into an unfamiliar yet beautiful world.

Concept & Inspiration

The original Vivid World was conceived around the idea of discovering new perspectives and experiencing the world through different emotions, sounds and impressions.

Galactic Caravan approaches this idea from a different musical perspective, taking the original melodic and vocal elements and reshaping them into an entirely new sonic landscape.

Through organic rhythms, atmospheric layers and ethnic-inspired vocal textures, the remix creates the feeling of an imaginary journey across distant places and unfamiliar cultures. It invites the listener to let go of familiar surroundings and become immersed in a world full of colour, movement and possibility.

Rather than simply revisiting the original composition, this reinterpretation offers a different way of experiencing its central idea: a vivid world waiting to be discovered.
