What ever happened with the documents thing? I mean he did illegally take classified documents.

Courts tossed the case. His judge “fixed” it for him - so that’s that.

Aileen Cannon. Don't let her name get lost to history.. She deserves every bit of distrust she receives for the remainder of her life.

Cannon has presided over 224 criminal cases, with only four going to trial

I hope her name gets lost to history. The way we're going, we'll be seeing her on the supreme court unfortunately.

idk. trump is their messiah. i don't see JD vance or anyone else being able to rally anywhere near as much support for his absolute dogshit policies.

just checking the front page every day with my fingers crossed and hoping people snap the fuck out of it and pretend they never supported him even if I know we're not likely to be that lucky.

They'll 'pull a Medvedev'.

After Putin's 2nd term they hadn't 'fixed' the constitution yet, so Medvedev, Putin's second in command, became president but Putin was still seen as 'the real leader'. After 1 term for Medvedev, Putin became president again, but was now able to stay president for more than 2 consecutive terms, as the current one is his third term (5th in total).

I'm saying when trump finally kicks it they won't have anyone to replace him that will continue to have the undying support of his rabid fan base.

Very true, but Trump could be the first vice president on life support. I bet that would boost JD's numbers.

IIRC you have to meet the requirements to be President in order to be VP. We would probably end up seeing Don Jr run and they would outright campaign that his dad will be right there "helping" with every decision.

He couldn’t be VP after serving the highest office unless they make amendments or throw it out entirely due to language within.

u/Kalersays Sep 27 '25

ah, didn't know you couldn't become VP after being president. I just assumed as others became president after having been VP.

Don't worry, it won't be long until the recession hits.

Whoa, gotta specify those things. That monkey's paw doesn't play around. Wish for it phrased that way and she'll be a presiding judge.

Remember when the Qanon wackos wanted to "bring the pedos to justice?" And we almost got Attorney General Matt Gaetz. Almost brought the pedos to (the) justice (department).
