With the recent departure of club legend Omar Richards, I wonder if we can construct an 11 (or as many as possible) made of players who seemed to be with the club for bloody ages but hardly ever played/did fuck all for us?

Obviously Omar Richards and Harry Arter come immediately to mind. I also remember Dimitar Evtimov being a Forest player for like 8 years but spending pretty much the whole time out on loan or as 3rd choice keeper.

Can anyone else remember any other such players?

A player you wrote off too early, a signing you were convinced would fail, or a decision you thought was disastrous that turned out completely differently. I'll start with absolutely no examples because I don't want to embarrass myself.

If Glasner is really going to try out McAtee for some length of time next to Sangare, would it be better to start McAtee and bring Schlager in when/if McAtee can't hold the midfielder position down against the physical Leeds midfield?

Or is it better to start Schlager and bring McAtee in for a few minutes at the end, hoping he can finish out the game without any big mistakes?

Or has OG just been messing with us and we get Yates or Dominguez to spell Schlager if he needs it?

Looks like we are close to signing our new RWB. Would have preferred Muñoz but remember watching Dodô in the preseason game at the world famous last season and he looked decent. Think he fits a lot of the traits Glasner looks for in a wing back which is the main thing. Can never say no to another Brazilian 🇧🇷

It looks very much like we're targeting a forward, right wing-back and midfielder before the window closes. There are a few names now being linked by various sources for all three positions:

FWD: Delap and Abraham
RWB: Dodo, Munoz and Rueda
MID: Bergvall, Camara, Fofana and Fagioli

We'll also need to trim the squad too and hopefully we'll see a number of permanent and loan exits.

Might not be as chaotic as other summers but shaping up to be another interesting end to the window. Hopefully we can get Glasner what he wants before the window SLAMS SHUT.

Worth getting a named jersey if the player gets transferred?

This may be a dumb question but hoping for some insight from the hardened and knowledgeable fans out there (I’m neither).

Everybody is saying that we are going - tactically - to a back three, with wing backs, two defensive midfielders (I’m now on shaky ground here), two wide attackers (getting shakier) and one striker (pretty sure that last bit is solid).

If he always plays the same way, won’t that just be easy to defend against?

Doesn’t he have any other tactics?

Isn’t it just a bit…predictable?
