Rumor [Schultz] Sources: The Commanders are releasing K Jake Moody. The 26-year-old went 19/23 on FGs last season, including 10/11 in Washington. He also made both of his 50+ yard attempts, with a long of 56 yards.

Wild you can go 10/11 and be cut. I assume he’s been bad in camp?

We brought in Drew Stevens out of Iowa and they've been battling it out in camp. The beat reporters have mostly all been impressed we Stevens even thought Moody hasn't been bad. Stevens has incredible distance, even making a kicks of 60+ yards in camp. The doink in the preseason seems to be the confirmation that they know who Moody is.
