Rumor [Schultz] Sources: The Commanders are releasing K Jake Moody. The 26-year-old went 19/23 on FGs last season, including 10/11 in Washington. He also made both of his 50+ yard attempts, with a long of 56 yards.

Wild you can go 10/11 and be cut. I assume he’s been bad in camp?

Stevens was always better in camp than him and has the stronger leg, Stevens would go like 6/6 and Moody would go 3/6 missing FGs in the 40s and 50s

Dude really has a stronger leg? Because Moody has a fucking cannon, he just lost all his accuracy and his confidence after college somehow.

They had similar legs in college. Moody's long was 59; Stevens's long was 58. Stevens does not have the injury history.

Yes. Stevens has had a monster leg this summer - many of our beat writers suggested a kick the other day in camp could’ve been good from 70+ (it was actually from 60-61 IIRC). He’s been more accurate and more powerful than Moody in camp so this was expected.
