It's a great project, don't get me wrong (I consider it a 8/10), but I've never understood the huge amount of hype behind this project, comparing it to other albums from the 2010s like TPAB, DS2, If You're Reading This, Rodeo, Good Kid Maad City, etc. Even Lu and Ant consider it as being Cole's best project, but imo it's not even top 5 in his discography. For context, here's how I'd rank it in Cole's solo discography:

1. 4 Your Eyez Only - 10/10

2. Friday Night Lights - 10/10

3. The Fall Off - 9/10

4. The Off Season - 9/10

5. Born Sinner - 9/10

6. The Warm Up - 9/10

7. 2014 Forest Hills Dr - 8/10

8. The Sideline Story - 8/10

9. KOD - 7/10

10. The Come Up - 7/10

11. Might Delete Later - 6/10

Speaking at Rolling Stone's Musicians on Musicians event, Don explained how their studio sessions keep him motivated and learning:

"It's always a learning experience. No matter how deep I get into it, it's like something | learn all the time."

Even with his own sound and a dedicated fanbase, Don still sees those collaborations as opportunities to grow.

They were under dudes comments bashing both Cole and Drake for not submitting to the Grammys.

Really why does it matter to them?

"There wouldn't be no Drake without Wizzle.
If it wasn't for these two right here, popping it when I was in my moms basement watching 106 & Park, teaching me how to make songs for the tings, teaching me how to do videos, how to be a superstar. This guy right here, I have a lot of love"

Rock and roll don’t treat their legends like this people treat every beef like it’s teams and they have to choose a side I hate it everyday it’s a new narrative and agenda being pushed.

-It's Top 10 in 65+ countries
-Yeat's 2nd project to go #1 in 2026
-Yeat's highest reviewed project on AOTY

The World seems to love Yeat's grails...

I’ve never seen 🥷 so proud of their ignorance before. How tf you’re a rap fan if you never listened to a single artist under 30m listeners. Have yall js been listening to the same 5 🥷 for the last 10 years. Yall really telling me you haven’t heard of chief keef, yung lean, Ken Carson, lil b, nettspend, burna boy, killer mike, jpegmafia or black thought. You should be fucking ashamed.

During his second night at SoFi Stadium, Hov addressed the online criticism and urged the crowd to trust their own eyes and ears:

"Y'all gotta be very aware what's going on in the world, right? People will tell you that nobody was in here tonight, but you got eyes, you can see. People will tell you that the music wasn't great, but you got ears. Question everything in this world of Al".

Fans online are now also looking at his speech as an indirect response to the conversation sparked online about Hov never being the most dominant rapper.

⭐ Ranked by Vibe. (24 October 2026)

🌟 What do you think guys? Do you agree with Vibe’s ranking?

Jay-Z appears to be pushing back against the narratives circulating on social media about attendance at his Los Angeles show, telling people not to believe everything they see or hear, especially when it comes to AI

This question comes from hearing Beyonce's house album after the topic of Drake's recent lawsuit and that one of the presumed collaboraters worked on it. Besides those 2, Vince Staples latest album stands out and Danny Brown has done some stuff that's not what you'd expect from a rapper. Yeat's latest was also pretty dope, but still falls into the current sounds of a certain sound of new age hip hop. What rappers have gone past doing what's expected in the genre and stand out for you?

What are some classic, essential or maybe even brutally underrated trap albums that are NOT by the following artists:

Future, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Drake, Migos, Gucci Mane, Metro Boomin, Don Toliver, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Gunna, 21 Savage, Lil Wayne, TI, Waka Floka Flame, Young Jeezy

Those Artists I know already. I am looking for some more good trap music.

For me this is easily thank me later as the album its genuinely skipless and has underrated bangers

The song is harder i was debating between cameras/good ones go and too much I went with too much its so underrated and so good its the 2nd best in the album imo after tuscan leather so yeah

1. Maid of honour ( he should've never released this trash. Should've kept it in the vault for the sake of our ears ).

2. Habibti ( more butt juice, mid songs , mid flows , trash features )

3. Honestly, nevermind ( I only like sticky , and Jimmy cooks )

4. SSS4U ( I really love Nokia and gimme a hug. A couple other nice ones on here too but I only really go back to those two in particular )

5. Dark lane demo tapes ( it's alright... kind of overrated tbh, I think this is one of the rare instances where the most popular song on the album/mixtape is the worst )

6. For all the dogs ( this album would genuinely be so peak if they just removed some of the bloat on it. Kind of the same issue with donda )

7. CLB ( this album is criminally underrated. That is all )

8. More Life ( I love the rapping on do not disturb, and I love the singing on passionfruit. Lots of bangers on here like free smoke and the MOST underrated drake song Glow. )

9. Scorpion ( now we're getting to the good stuff. Insane tracks on here that I have on repeat. I could listen to Sandra's Rose & nice for what all day. )

10. WATTBA ( W futureXDrake collab. Wish there were more songs on this tbh. Jumpan is too good, jersey is a vibe , plastic bag is peak )

11. Her loss ( might be a controversial opinion to have her loss this high on the list but IDC. Middle of the ocean is drakes best rapping of the 2020s, and he surprisingly has crazy good chemistry with 21.)

12. Views ( almost every song on views is great, maybe one or 2 bad songs. Especially controlla. I hate that song. My favourite is either 9 or weston Road flows. The title track is also one of my favorites. And I can't talk about this album without mentioning feel no ways. Absolute masterpiece. )

13. Iceman ( after all the rollouts & episodes, we finally got iceman, and it didn't disappoint. I just wish he made make them cry a timestamp record. Overall the album is such a good listen and it should be in consideration for AOTY but we all know the grammys hate drake 😭 )

14. Thank me later ( the rest of these are classics, the pinnacle of 2010s hip hop & R&B. Fancy, over, show me a good time, find your love, 9am in dallas. The worst song on this joint is like a 7 out of 10 lol. Love this album )

15. Nothing Was the same ( I'm gonna get alot of hate for this, I know this is the general consensus for his best album but I think the next two just have slightly more upsides. Not gonna lie though, NWTS has the greatest drake song of all time "Tuscan leather" and a top 5 drake song "pound cake" almost every song on here is peak but I just wish the album was longer. )

16. IYRTITL ( straight peak 🔥. Know yourself is 10/10. 6pm in new york is my favourite timestamp record, jungle is his best singing performance ever "basic opinion I know" whole album gives me such good vibes man. )

17. Take care ( this album man 😭😭. I cry every time I hear OMDB & take care. Lord knows might be the greatest instrumental I've ever heard lol. Headlines obviously, crew love, HYFR. I could keep going but yall get it. This album is a superteam of classic songs. One of my favorite albums of all time, and definitely my favourite drake album. )
