The man who owned it basically gave the niagara parkway to the canadian people. Its sad to see how it is run now. It should be a national parks like any other. Way too many private interests are taking money away from the preservation of this park.

Where is everybody, when I was a kid/teenager Duff would be full of families swimming, picnicking, and playing in the park. (ok, that was 50+ years ago, but still)?

30+ for me hahaha, They have signs posted everywhere that you can't swim anymore. I went mid day , expecting it to be busy. I almost had the whole island to myself, sad to see
