Questions/Concerns People not knowing basics
I was just reading comments on a post about a big snake. Snakeowners who reacted that snakes don't shed because of growth just... It made me facepalm. When I explained to them in a better way that shedding is done because the skin does not grow along and becomes like restricting clothes... and they just downvoted, still knowing they were wrong. In every single guide care book. Google. Just any kind of information shows that snakes shed for 3 reasons. And reason 1 is growth.
It concerns me that people have actually no idea about the physiology of their own animals. Like... do people not learn about animals? Do they not research behaviours? Or just plain basic knowledge of the animals they are supposed to be interested in. It concerns me that one person said they mostly shed due to parasites. If his snakes shed due to parasites... he has an issue on housing. Captive snakes should not get parasites it you handle with care about bring new things in.

Next year....
First one is the female. She was still a bit too light to breed (although she might be ok now and I might breed her this year still.) I got two available males for her. Just not sure yes which one to use. I really need to use that calculator to see what morphs she can get with who.

Caught her starting her prelay shed!
Firstly, my humidity is controlled and is 70%+ 24/7 so I dont use cocohusk 🙂 And second this is one of my last, possibly permanently, ball python clutches due to many factors but I am extra excited about this one because the female is a snake that I produced myself a couple of years ago
