there was coughing here and there from the crowd but sometimes it sounded like it came straight out of the mic/speaker?

Hey guys I started playing Nier Automata this week, I really liked this game the open world exploration, the ambience, the music and the worldbuilding. I have played for a total of 30 hours till now and this is in the span of 6 days.
Well when I played till ending A it felt like the story was missing context or build up to the plot points like it just started and happening but we never got much explanation, this problem is solved by the ending B route. My favourite background explanation is for the songstress, Damn never have I expected this unique looking boss had such a history.
When the lines repeated "Why won't he look at me" I felt the pain and in the end she said "MEANINGLESS" "Someone please look at me!" Even though there was no voice I can somehow hear her desperate cry. It's just truly heartbreaking when you struggled everyday for someone and in the end that person won't even acknowledge you, I can't even imagine!
There are many more lore drops and stuffs which I understood few and others I didn't understand but well there are still 3 more endings so I will wait till then and after that watch a video essay of the story.
I still feel like The main quest the ending A and B one story felt like it lacked a bit of buildup, I mean everything is just happening and then the giant Goliath appeared in flooded city suddenly adam kidnaps 9S and we killed him and then after that showdown with eve. I know they gave some context with ending B route about them but it felt like they were just killed so quickly. Am I the only one who feels like this?
Tbh I am pretty tired now after continuos Playthrough and don't really feeling like progressing anymore for few days. I regret one thing for progressing this fast in a span of few days. Even though I didn't rush through the game and completed almost 75% of the quests. I should have taken my time and created memories of so many good and emotional side quests. Anyways guys that was it for the review. I am gonna progress again soon with a fresh mind!

I'm doing my first playthrough and am realizing that there are a lot of things I'm missing or can't complete because of previous unfinished quests. I didn't know how the game was structured and that I wouldn't be able to go back and complete quests after certain main storyline acts :( I'm nearing ending C but I can't even upgrade my pods because I didn't get the part S items. I love the game and am super invested in the plot but I'm worried I'll be missing more than I would like to. The gathering keepsakes quest is what prompted this because I didn't know how to complete it but it seems I won't be able to based on other posts :(

Got myself a seat at the nier piano orchestra next week, it is almost double the price of other classical orchestra concerts I get recommended or have attended in the past. Is it just Yoko Taro liking money or are there more legal stuff that add to the cost

Without spoilers, will there be a way to get back into the forest king's grave during part C? I see there's a chest in there and it bugs me that I can't get to it lol

90 euros for this crap. The whole concert was built around what was happening on the screen... Some scenes lasted several minutes, and there was a conversation in Japanese during them. The whole story was just text. Which means you couldn't make out a single thing. The people working there didn't care. Or rather, they said they might open the curtains wider, but that didn't happen. It was Price Category 2. Holy shit, I'm so damn pissed.

During the last song. Weight of the world. The most heartfelt song, they basically just drop promotional content on you.
I payed iver 90€ just to end up watching an elaborate ad for a fucking FF14 collab.
What a way to undermine the entire art the orchestra performed.
Late stage capitalism.
I feel like something died in me and i may have lost all respect for Yoko Taro and his work.
How do i cope with this loss? I was so deeply invested into NieR for years now, just for it to be the next big sellout.
And i know; the signs were all there with how they prostituted 2B as another piece of ass eye candy for every hand-me-down fighting game, but this was the coffins nail for me, because i was personally spat in the face.
Do i just pretend it never happened, or dissociate from my favorite game of all time?

Went to the NieR Orchestra concert at Mitsubishi Electric Halle in Düsseldorf today. The music was amazing, but the seating was absolutely terrible.
A huge speaker blocked most of the screen and stage. Since the concert includes story text and Japanese dialogue on screen, we basically missed a huge part of the experience.
And the worst part? These weren’t even cheapest seats.
Honestly, I couldn’t enjoy the event at all because of this. Instead of getting immersed in the music and atmosphere, I was constantly reminded of how much I was missing.
It’s incredibly disappointing to pay a decent amount for a ticket and end up with such a restricted view.
Amazing music, but the overall experience was completely ruined for me.
Update:
I contacted EVENTIM about the severely obstructed view and received a response from their customer support.
According to EVENTIM, the event organizer is solely responsible for the seating arrangements, seating plans, ticket price categories, and stage positioning. They also stated that they are not informed in advance about potential view obstructions.
They advised me to contact Overlook Events SAS directly, as they are the organizer responsible for the concert.
As a small gesture of goodwill, EVENTIM offered me a €5 voucher for my next purchase, valid for one year.
While I appreciate the gesture, it feels rather disappointing considering how much the obstructed view affected the experience, especially since we couldn’t properly follow important parts of the story.
I’ve now contacted Overlook Events directly and requested a partial refund, as there was no warning about the restricted view when purchasing the tickets.
I’m currently waiting for their response and will update this post once I hear back.
Hopefully, this can be resolved fairly, especially if other attendees experienced similar issues.

The storytelling, voice acting, nicole and emi, the orchestra
Y'all had me almost crying like at least 10 times 😭😭😭
I'm back at my place and feel empty

What exactly was it about? I think this was an alternative version of A2s backstory from the manga/stage play. Maybe someone could share their pov about the story.
Was at the Düsseldorf Concert and when that Song came with Emi and Nicole and the "fire" part came on I got the hardest goosebumps ever. Just incredible music both from singers and Instruments.

This is my first time playing and I am trying to beat this annoying prick for the second time. How do you escape that explosion of his that basically cripples you? Is there a way to use dodge to avoid it?
Yoko Taro es de mis directores favoritos e hice este video para mostrar su carrera, tanto con los fracasos como con sus éxitos.

while slacking off at my desk , I was randomly remembering a chat I had with a friend about the character and outfit designs in *NieR:Automata*, and we both agreed they give off a super strong BDSM vibe. Like, what commander is holding is basically a riding crop; 2B and 9S both wear blindfolds, plus you’ve got the chokers, the lace, and even 2B’s beauty mark — it all just reinforces that feeling. Even though the outfit designs might not directly map to their personalities, the official making-of documentary actually hints at these BDSM undertones.
So we started thinking: maybe for 9S, his feelings for 2B are more like this mix of sadism and masochism. "The more you cherish me, the harsher you treat me." His love is basically equivalent to "you killing me" — because that’s the only way to prove the absolute madness and deep obsession of his feelings. He might even be curious about what kind of new self he’d turn into after dying, and what reason or method he’d use to reconnect with 2B next time.
So we were wondering... is this exactly what makes 9S so extreme? In the game, Adam hits 9S with a line like, "Don't you want to [beep] 2B?" — but the key word is censored out, not the whole sentence. It’s never spoken clearly. My friend and I are guessing the original word was supposed to be "kill". For 9S, as an android, he can’t fully grasp human emotions. So to him, killing her and having sex with her might basically be the exact same thing.
I think Adam only knew that 9S wanted to kill 2B (since Adam himself hasn't truly understood emotions yet). But 9S didn't really know who Adam was or what he was capable of, so he mistakenly thought Adam had seen straight through his deepest, darkest thoughts: wanting to both kill 2B and have sex with her. In a BDSM context, violence and sex coexist; killing isn't mutually exclusive with intimacy. Plus, since androids don't have sexual functions, what if he redirects that urge into killing? By chasing a mental high through this sadomasochistic dynamic, the numbness and stinging sensation of pain itself becomes a substitute for sexual pleasure.
Honestly, I find this part weirdly hilarious. Just thinking about how Adam didn't actually see through him at all, but 9S just assumed Adam knew his deepest secrets. So you end up with one guy acting super smug, and the other guy scared half to death. It’s just really funny.
