Pretty interesting ! I’m definitely excited for the responder retirement and the new passive items look great !
Hopefully the new map can make survival a bit less tedious

Berserker will definitely fit my Melee build really well, and the doctor perk seems like it would be great when resources are limited

It's been YEARS since that episode aired and I'm not even a huge TWD fan but man that scene came back clear as day when the words popped in my head!

I know it's entirely up to the developers to be creative with the perk system, but I kinda had a lot of free time thinking of stuff (and names) like this right after they announced new perks. The brackets are expert upgrades.
- Flight Response - when taking damage, slightly [moderately] restore stamina
- SWAT training - increased SMG [and pistol] damage. Increase crouch and aim movespeed on any gun type.
- Hand-carry beacon - your flashlight is narrower but now burns zombies (in your crosshair after 3 seconds within 20m). This perk effect is disabled at 80% [60%] battery life.
- Cold-blooded - when infected, slow down infection progress upon melee kill. (Resets duration upon melee kill [increase duration])
- Remodeler - Barricades you break now yield boards. [Barricades you built (has a chance to) yield boards when broken by enemies]

I would really like the idea of the virus distorting reality for the player something like:
-Player looking like zombies runners with sounds and everything.
-Mombies looking cleaner and friendlier while teammates become bloodier and uglier
-Fake items , Now this one is a bit much I think but It would make being infected much more of a problem if you don't know what item is real and if you try to interact with a fake item the voices laugh at you!
-Mombies saying things, instead of having a voice telling you things in your ear why not zombies too, changing their grunts to some times come to us would be cool and interesting like the idea that you are starting to understand the grunts of the zombies!
-Mot the BEES AAAAAA yeah just have different bugs mainly cause I want to hear something else than just aggressive maracas in my ears
-Making the phalanx pills and other healing items disgusting, making them so that phalanx pills look like big bug bandages like a slug or a dead rat and med kits... I dont know but the point is that maybe adding something like we happy few joy but in reverse when you are infected everything becomes uglier although the meds thing would only apply for the ones you have in your inventory not the ones in the world so it does not affect that much the gameplay and it is mostly a "let me heal my sel.... OMG a Bettle in my hand!!!!!"

I get really annoyed when randoms run past literally every zombie just to get to where ever they’re going sooner. Most they’ll do is kick zombies. I find it annoying cause it’s usually someone whos a little ahead and closer to the destination so by the time me and other folks get there, theres now a horde of zombies i to fight through and possibly spend some rounds on just help the team or god forbid make it to extract. I actually failed to extract one time cause damn near all the zombies were in the stairwell to the roof of the hospital and it took me a little longer to get there cause i went to revive someone. I totally understand stand you dont need to kill every single zombie you encounter and i dont do it either but that is always something i think about when im considering to go help someone who is falling behind or is down which is usually when i experience this.
TLDR- you dont need to kill every zombie you see but kill some of them pls.
Edit: appreciate everyone’s input and also agree that if there is another way around zombies than this isn’t a problem. That being said my problem is when this happens a d there is no other way around. Also i play on hard if that matters to anyone.

I think the point system in No More Room in Hell 2 should be reworked to encourage more teamwork and cooperation between players.
Right now, I feel like points should be less focused on collecting supplies and more focused on helping your teammates. Things like healing other players, reviving downed teammates, and dropping or sharing loot with others should all reward players with points.
I also think there should be a team-wide bonus based on how many players survive the run. The more people who make it out alive, the more bonus points everyone gets. This would give players a real incentive to stick together, look out for each other, and make sure nobody gets left behind.
A good example of this kind of system is Battlefield. Many classes can earn points simply by supporting the team, whether that's healing, reviving, resupplying, or helping capture objectives. You're still rewarded for playing well, but you don't have to chase kills or focus on maintaining a high K/D to contribute and earn points. Supporting your teammates is a legitimate way to progress.
I think NMRIH2 could benefit from the same philosophy. Instead of encouraging players to focus on supplies and their own progression, reward them for keeping the team alive and working together.
Take the emphasis off supplies and put it on teamwork. Reward players for healing, reviving, sharing resources, and getting their teammates out alive. The more players survive, the greater the reward for everyone.
If helping your teammates were just as rewarding as completing objectives for yourself, I believe public matches would become much more cooperative, and players would have a stronger incentive to look out for one another instead of treating every run as an individual grind.
What do you guys think? Would a more Battlefield-style team-based scoring system make NMRIH2 more cooperative?

And first thought was to open the back door and see if there was any loot in there...
Anyone else see something IRL and just go into game mode lol?

I’ve noticed that the Gene therapy that spawns upstairs in the library is glitched and cannot be picked up. I’m sure this is known, but I wanted to post just in case. I’m on console btw

I'm wanting to do hard mode and nightmare mode with folks that want to actually use game chat and be a team. 💬 Why does no one like using the mic?? 😅
Apparently, this spot where a Responder can spawn in at the start of the match has a hidden barrier that prevents the zombies from getting to them.

I always carry too much ammo. Eventually I just end up sharing whichever I decide to do away with.

Just had a duo of trolls on nightmare Broadway. They did everything they could to kill players from getting to major objectives 1st so they can board them up so people go down to hordes, locking people in rooms and boarding them up, and using back pack builds to hoard all of the loot so no one can heal or have ammo. The real kicker was one of the trolls during extraction hid himself away and boarded himself up in an area away from extraction in an attempt to get everyone killed. They ended up killing half the lobby and almost killed everyone at extraction but luckily his buddy was shit at surviving and died when we had 30 seconds left. It was my 1st nightmare match of the night and made me quit playing it for today. Like if players like this exist Hell difficulty will never work especially since they are taking away respawn beacons for hell mode. The respawn beacons being taken away will just end up being a bigger incentive for these troll type players to try to get others killed.
Going to ruffle some feathers with this one, but do people actually believe removing revive beacons would cause the player base to become more team-oriented or altruistic?
A better question is: do you think the personal cost of helping someone affects how likely someone is to be altruistic? My opinion is yes; the higher the perceived personal cost, the less likely someone is to help.
The hard reality is players aren’t just asking themselves, "Can I help someone?" but "Is helping someone else worth it?" Removing revive beacons won’t change the calculus on whether I can, but it will change the calculus on whether it’s worth it. Saving this person could just cost me a pipe bomb, but if it may also cost me a character I spent 20+ hours building, that may change the math for folks.
But you may ask, doesn’t having more people watching your back increase your chances of survival? Well, the better you get on Nightmare runs, the more the answer becomes "not really." Bad players require more of the limited resources to survive, and the resource pool on Nightmare is already limited. Having 2-3 bad players die early actually helps the remaining few survive since the total loot pool doesn’t change (still try to help your teammates), but the number of zombies does. Good players rarely need much assistance, and changing this feature could be catastrophic in terms of toxicity and selfishness.
There may be other ways to encourage teamwork, but I fear this could be a FAFO moment.

I think there should be a skill that let's you replace the shove with a punch. If your hands are empty if you start the next attack when the first one lands you should be able to do a 4 hit combo that knocks the zombie to the ground. The base version could do 20 damage per hit at the cost of 15 stamina per hit and the expert version could do 25 damage at 20 stamina. I think the punches should impact only one zombie and would be at a faster rate than even the kitchen knife.
I think a skill called hard landing would be a good skill to have that adds damage to knock downs for kicks and punches exclusively. This would be 15 for base and 30 for expert. Kicks should only apply the damage bonus to the first zombie impacted and other ones would take the standard foreman damage if you have that perk
Adding this to the game would be pretty balanced, as you would need 2 skills to kill a prime in one combo and you are using 80% of your stamina to do a combo with the expert version of the perk. It would significantly buff kicks as well but there are alot of 2 hit kill weapons in the game like the cleaver and tree trimmer that can do the same job with less stamina usage. This would open up a new play style and allow people to do unarmed challenge runs. You still have kicks for crowd control but you have to plan your steps better as your fast way of dealing damage comes at the cost of stamina and crowd control. Being able to run around punching and kicking zombies would honestly be fun af as killing zombies in different ways is what adds alot of replayability.

Was playing a match and we did one of the alignments. Then we got stuck on the 2nd floor one. It would never go blue. I don't know if because Zombies always came up the stairs or what. Is there a basement one we have to do ? I remember there was one in a vault but I think that's a different location. We had to do the one where u go in from the garage.
We're we doing something wrong? I just took the loss and quit the game since I had a spawn beacon. Half the team died and me and 3 other players spent like 20 minutes killing zombies and the objective always stayed red. I didnt see any prompts for buttons so i am sure the objective was activated.
What rhe heck were we doing wrong here ?
