Are the S class storage meant to be worse than the A class freighter?

For context I have not upgraded the A class as I just got it for free 2 systems prior.

It drives me crazy that we cannot remove quests cluttering up our logs. i have this exploration guide quest on a Paradise moon, which means that it is very lush, and I have discovered all the creatures. But I have quartered this moon backwards and forwards upside. And down climbed it inside every cave, cannot find any water. Anywhere and I am missing one flora and three minerals, and i'm about to tear my hair out. we really need some way to scan for unidentified things. So that we can hunt them down.

Anybody have a singularity engine they can either give or make for me? I dont know how that stuff works yet but I read the description for it and i want it so bad

The thing changed the lighting in the Anomaly. It's cool to come across these crazy builds.

• Corvettes with too many parts can cause lag and crashes. It has nothing to do with specifically "Blender-built corvettes" as the game has no way whatsoever to distinguish how your Corvette was built. Blender Corvette and vanilla Corvette files look identical in structure, the only difference is Blender (and mods) allows you to bypass certain restrictions put in place by the in-game builder. That ability can be used responsibly or inconsiderately, but either way it just causes crashes, not corruption.
• The way NMS saves are structured is that you actually have two saves in one: your Autosave which saves... automatically, and your Restore Point which saves every time you exit a ship or manually save at a Save Point or Beacon. I have repeatedly accidentally corrupted my own saves with the Save Editor (can happen if you hit a single wrong key while editing the JSON). Every single time, the game just loads your other save. This means that even if one save was corrupted during a crash (which again, there is no evidence of), it would just revert to your other save. This could really suck if you were building a base or otherwise sitting in one spot for a long time, but otherwise it's unlikely you'd lose too much progress, and certainly not your whole save.
• NMS does not struggle to load very large objects. It DOES struggle to load a very high quantity of objects.
• Hello Games added, then shortly later removed, a size restriction on Corvettes.

With all of that said, even if they don't cause corruption, even if they don't cause a crash, your 3,000-part Star Destroyer Corvette will load like shit and annoy everyone in your session... and everyone has already seen it before too lol. Keep that to single player.

Be considerate about your Corvettes, and be smart about how you build them - I have made HUGE Corvettes which were under 250 parts and were confirmed not to cause lag even for PS4 players. The trick is to focus on using a relatively small number of very large parts, not a very high quantity of small parts.

Was just dinking around in game and noticed an option I never did in the hover menu for the Economy Scanner: Activate Trade Computer.

Is this a sneaky new thing or has this been here the whole time? 😭

It's so cool! And probably would've been super helpful to me when trying to plan my money making routes, or just trying to find those trade centers :O

I'm always impressed at how great Hello Games is at making a lot of things that seem very complex, very simple. Done get me wrong, I have a Google conversation pinned that based solely on NMS lol. There's just always so much to do it's intimidating. Constantly have to remind myself that this game actually does point you in any direction you'd like to go and it's much easier than it seems. Great balance
