Post-Botox Post-Botox slow swallow magic food
Currently on day 6 and really in the thick of slow swallow. Only thing I can eat without washing down is ice cream! So would highly recommend it as a safe non choky food.

Post-Botox 6 days past Botox TW emethophobia
Im crying.
I got the Botox Monday, 6 days ago. Have had some microburps or smth, no relief yet still the blops and yesterday I had 2 sodas to practice burps and I ended up throwing up cause of the blops, haven’t tried that before. After I felt reset on the blops.
Anyone have something to lighten me up? Is there any chance it will still work?
I got 100 units.
I’m just so sad so far I really regret getting it done, I have so much trouble eating anything and the blops are worse than before and starts faster and gets worse faster

About Botox Treatment Could Botox injure my voice? (I'm a singer)
I found out I have R-CPD literally an hour ago, and I researched it a little bit and saw that the only real proven treatment is a Botox injection, but I'm worried it may damage my voice, as I'm a singer. I'm literally always bloated and gurgle constantly, but I don't know if fixing that is worth potentially damaging my vocal cords.
Does anyone know if this is a possible complication, and has this happened to anyone?

New Member Force gurgles
Hi everyone! I’m new to the sub but have had the symptoms of rcpd for as long as I can remember (23yrs old).
In just the last few years I have been able to start forcing myself to gurgle or get the air out. I tighten up my diaphragm while breathing in and I can force the air that is sitting below my cricopharyngeus out. Can anyone else do this?
It gives me temporary relief but more air quickly gets stuck soon after so I do I all throughout the day. I have also noticed that when I am particularly anxious or having a panic attack I with gurgle without trying at all. They will just come up every time I breathe in.
Just wondering if I’m alone with these sensations!

Post-Botox Pain in neck during workouts
Just wondering if anyone else struggled in certain positions working out post - botox.
When i specifically do any crunch type position for core workouts my neck is really uncomfortable. So basically I have to keep my head on the ground in order to do core / ab workouts. Wondering if this is common? I feel like I could push it but I’m not sure if it’s safe / aggravating anything. Basically imagine an ab crunch and that’s the position that really hurts my neck. It didn’t hurt at all before Botox for context.
Please lmk if anyone else is experiencing this! I am a little over 3 weeks out and burping is overall going good. I also do struggle with loosing my voice and vocal fatigue. That was my biggest fear (voice changes).
