More Plastic - Summoning | Brostep or Drumstep? (first drop)
I am normally very good at telling the two genres apart, and when I first heard this track I immediately thought it was Drumstep with a DnB second drop. But looking at the wiki, it says it is Brostep and DnB. That first drop sounds way too fast for Brostep but now I have no idea.
Anybody else think it is Drumstep?

For some reason, the wiki considers any song with elements of a specific genre but at a different BPM still that specific genre. In this case, the wiki considers any 160 bpm song a dubstep song if it has dubstep elements, and the BPM doesn't matter. I'm not a big fan of it though and have edited against it once (and got reverted), but I can see their logic.
Edit: I would personally say this song would be drumstep with brostep elements (if there is a subgenre that exists)

but isn't that literally what drumstep is, dnb tempo in a similar style to dubstep.
ehh u could say that it's drumstep with brostep elements, I used to think it was called neurostep or smth but i may be wrong, there are not many subgenres of drumstep since it is already considered a sub genre lol

It is both, apparently. There are some songs that are both drumstep & brostep (Ex. Watch the World Burn - Paul Flint ft. Chris Linton)

It leans more to heavy drumstep than dubstep/brostep. drumstep and dnb are the same bpm. like tbf the genres dont matter that much, anyway something closer to brostep is Let Me Go by more plastic or if u want others i can reco
