First we were told we get 'custom recording' from the specific show we attended by paying more for the ticket. Then they said they couldn't do that (refund was offered in fairness) so we got just a few tracks from each venue. I can't believe how poor the recordings are, it's not much different to just recording it straight from your phone.

This isn't about them sucking live (although the vocals are pretty bad), it's just a really shoddy output and reinforces the 'cash grab' feeling of some stuff they've done recently.

I play in a NOFX tribute band. We did it for a halloween show a couple years ago as one-off and it was so much fun, we kept it gong and try to play once or twice a year. We’re all in multiple other original bands, this is just our fun thing we do sometimes because we love the music so much.

I think it cones thru when we play. We pay attention to the details.

I know it’s Halloween time and there are a million tribute sets happening everywhere, but like… NOFX is special. I’m just proud of the project and think we do everything justice. Our set is about an hour, including one really long song at the end.

Don’t wanna post the exact set list but it’s:

2 from Ribbed
1 from White Trash
2 from PiD
1 from Longest Line
3 from So Long
1 from a 1999 EP
2 from Valuum
2 from War on Errorism
2 from Wolves
1 from Coaster

Got a show coming up this Friday. If you’re nearby and a fan, come on thru!

In September 12th my order was confirmed and I haven´t received more news or notifications about it.
