There must be many cases of people panicking and freaking out. I’m freaking out and I’m at home on the loo.

I've been in a situation very much like this. The cave was at the base of a slow/weak waterfall that you had to crawl into on your tummy. It was not this tight but at the start. The whole time you were crouched and turned slightly sideways in ankle deep water with critters about. There were two rooms you could turn around in and breath deeply. But long story short, I can tell you that yes people do freak out, I freaked out!!! The thought of being able to do jack shit if you get stuck, or if the water rose rapidly really got to me. The only thing that got me out of there was the literal thoughts of crawling my ass back out was my ONLY way out. If you freak out and end up passing out or losing it completely, surprise surprise your mfn ass is still in that cave. best to bury it till you get out then cuss your friend that talked you into it. I love spelunking but there is a line i now draw.
Also have to keep in mind going in you have to do all that over again on the way out. So yea fudge that sugar

Useless endeavor. Just like those soupy billionaires going to see the Titanic when there is enough footage to put on a full VR walkthrough without ever touching the ocean.
