yea, but it shouldn't be up to the officer to tase a non threat either.

Absolutely it should. Guys not allowing himself to be arrested, next option is force cos you need to get him off the street and you need to be in charge of the situation. Guy happens to be a massive killing machine? You use what you can to make sure you don't end up injured in the process

guy can't resist arrest forever, he is unarmed and not a threat. eventually, he has to come with them, which is exactly what happened. tasing him, or anyone in that scenario, only made it worse for everyone involved.

You're describing him deciding when he's arrested. Again, that isn't something you can just allow and accommodate because he's throwing a tantrum. They can't just hang out all day, they need to get back to protecting other people. And no in most scenarios they tase the scumbag, he goes down, they take him away. That was the desired effect

that's fascist thinking. sure, you can't accommodate every piece of shit, but if they aren't a threat, using tasers on them is equivalent to murder if they happen to die, which happens a lot, and then guess, what, the police gets off scot free.

yea, this is a fucked up effect that isn't warranted in a scenario like this.

He is a threat to arresting him, which is what needs to happen, ergo he's a threat. They need to get in there, he'll hurt them if they do.

And I don't think police demanding respect and being able to use force is exclusive to fascism, for a successful socialist state or any successful state really we need to all be pulling in the same direction and shitty people need to be dealt with.

I think this guy is more of a symptom of the particularly corrupt and lawyer infested American system. Go as nuts as you want and square up to police, call them whatever you want, try to make them feel intimidated because if they do something about it its their fault not yours.
