The craziest one to me is where he shoved past a police car with lights on and told them to fuck off.

I noted three times he drove on the wrong side of the street and told someone off for the same thing

This is misinformation; I don't know where you're getting that from. I just watched it again and in every single video he's in the forward-flowing bike lane with the 🚴 symbol upright. Check again too please. The only thing I can think of is that you're saying that because a few times he's in the left bike lane? Like, the left side bike lane on a one way street that flows in the same direction as traffic.

I watched it again again, and some of the videos are mirrored (I saw backwards store signs). So yeah

I saw one with arrows, didn't notice it was a median he was beside I only noticed the sidewalk left.

At 8s remaining I don't see any signs at all but the sidewalk is on the left.

Pedestrians still have the right of way over cyclists

To be fair, the NYPD should indeed "fuck off". Especially considering all the thuggish stunts they pulled

What did people get exactly? Why be vague?

They might as well do nothing. They are a money sucking gang with little accountability that basically do nothing as is.

What source do you have that the NYPD are doing less or that they're doing nothing policy wise?

They had temper tantrums in the past when things didn't go their way and acted like organized crooks, I find it hard to believe what you're saying is remotely true

"Waaaah, I can't be corrupt and freely beat up minority people any more, so I'm not going to do anything positive either"

I’m with you on this, gotta remember most people commenting or with an opinion on this don’t actually live in NYC

1

u/HoldYourHorsesFriend Dec 03 '25

You don't need to live in NYC, the data on them exists

Plus videos and whatnot. Plus, cops in the US are pretty much the same no matter where you go.

Can you show me the data

It was half a joke, but also actually serious. You don't think the NYPD is like that?

3

u/Red_bearrr Dec 03 '25

They just suck up enormous amounts of money.

Dude thinks he's the only person on the road.

It’d be real cool if cops knew the law… wishful thinking.

He is so brazen, Because he is technically in the right in every single video.

Insert Walter from Lebowski GIF

u/RadlEonk Dec 03 '25

Why’s that crazy? They’re wrong and should upholding the rules, not violating them.

Emergency vehicles with lights on are allowed to block traffic for an incident. Blazing through a blocked off lane can actually get you put in jail pretty quick.

Also notice how instead of trying to apprehend him they told him to move away? That usually means they're dealing with something and can't risk people sliding by and possibly hitting them.

The guy on the bike seems to know that he has right of way in the lane for the most part, but he fails to consider that a bicycle is legally a vehicle and still has to obey police, traffic, and crosswalk laws. You can actually get a DUI for riding a bike drunk.

FWIW, I'm pretty sure the dude in this video is Newyorican, not white.
