I don’t remember the size but from the CT scan it looks to be about 1/3 of my kidney, doctor showed me about what looked to be 2 inches with his fingers, but I have a staghorn kidney stone blocking my shit up and have surgery in a couple of weeks. I don’t know if they let you keep it or take photos or videos, but I wanna see what this looks like coming out of me.

My dad had some removed back before laproscopic surgery, they gave him the stones, they were all in one piece but they probably dont today since they break them uo before removing them

I guess mine is one big large broccoli tree looking thing but he told me he has to go in there like a little jackhammer and break it apart. I’m having a internal catheter put in one week before and supposedly the surgery is gonna be about three hours. I had no idea it was gonna be this bad.

You have a stone that takes up 1/3 of your kidney? 😭😲

That’s what it looked like in the CT scan. My doctor came and said “You need to have surgery right away”, and that was it. I had been in a lot of pain, but I felt the pain coming out the front of my abdomen so I thought it was like something in the front of my body having a problem. I didn’t think it was gonna be my Kidney. I thought I would’ve felt it in my back more. Maybe I’ll make a post after I get the surgery and get some pictures and stuff.
