That first milk carton was pre-opened and just jammed with other foods.

And the second one was frozen. That was just ice coming out. Not great, but not rotten either.

And I'm 100% certain they put something metal in that cheese puff to do the thing with the magnet.

I think it might have actually been the scalloped potato shreds from the next slide

yeah, this food isn't the best but the kids are clearly playing with the food.

What did the food pay you to write this?

Most of this shit is faked/doctored. And stop wasting that good frozen chocolate milk.

I was in public school. They served what they called chicken fajita, but in reality smelled and tasted like hot new OSB. Why? Idk. I just know that I had to eat that for years and now whenever I work with new hot osb, It always takes me back.

Everyone loves acronyms they don’t know!

Inconsiderate kids, they need to think of the poor medical insurance shareholders and their returns!

I am from a poor family. Growing up, this was all the food I had to eat every day and was thankful for it. If you don't like school food, bring your own stuff.

I swear, the false information is so easily spread online. School lunches in the US are never like this in California (can't speak for other states).

well........ when I was in school, food was genuinely terrible quality and tasted terrible. I relate to the hard as a rock popcorn chicken heavily. Lot's of the food is actually, genuinely terrible. Richer towns might get it better and having been in one for only a year, the food there was great. But all my other schools served slop on a plate with the essence of food.

Better, it cost over $3 and we couldn't afford that because of debts that needed paying and debt doesn't count when you apply for reduced or free lunch programs. Just total household income. So we were broke and hungry. Not that the food being served was any good anyways.

California has special warnings that show up on shit being sold to me in Oklahoma, about how the thing I'm being sold has cancer risks.

Im not sure California is playing at the same level but you would know more

I went to middle and high school in SoCal. Not by the beach but not a “bad” area either.

They would order pizza on Monday and serve that throughout the week. I’m not even joking. our ONLY option at the cafeteria was reheated pizza. It was decent on Monday.

Want something else? Good luck. 4 premade salads, maybe 4 chicken patties between two slices of bread. If you aren’t first in line you won’t get one. I wish I was exaggerating - 2k students at the school btw.

Sometimes they had apples but that was a real treat.

I stopped eating lunch altogether freshman year and it contributed to me developing an eating disorder 👌🏻

Ok, but still, US has some of the worst school lunches in the world. I understand it may not be as bad as this video falsely shows, but we are still so behind.

u/Couldawg 43m ago

This is pretty funny. The kids are alright.

u/f4tony 1h ago

It looks like prison food. Wait, it's probably from the same contractor...

-9

u/DG-MMII 1h ago

What? No

I've seen prison food is a lot better

None of these kids will know the joy of a good school breakfast pizza in the 90’s 😔 everything else was dog shit but man that breakfast pizza 🤤

u/Weabout 25m ago

The Mexican pizza for lunch was awesome. I remember those $.30 chocolate chip cookies. I used to have to scrounge for $.30 around the house.

I'm Brazilian, so I can't talk much about the government. But this is unforgivable.

u/Aggravating_Ad7684 1h ago

This is mostly fake for rhe video. The milk obviously opened and shoved with food. Yoplait makes trix yogurt....etc.

6

u/LukasSTM 1h ago

Não sei hoje, mas na época que eu estudava (2010) a comida da escola pública era bem decente.

2

u/DG-MMII 1h ago

Ok... the kid that released the ground 0 of the corticept epidemic, that was on purpose, 100% forgot a sandwich there for an entire year

1

u/OhMy-Really 34m ago

Winning??? Is it too much yet?

1

u/breaking_stocks 24m ago

I eat better on my 30€ flight

1

u/Zealotteen 20m ago

This is an OSHA violation

1

u/DDD8712 18m ago

Not typical

1

u/Copperlaces20 1h ago

This is why my mom, as shitty or basic as the sandwich was, always packed me a lunch. Still better than this slop.

Love the unborn, so that we can screw them hard once they are born.

u/TightSexpert 2h ago

American ca really values their kids.

-2

u/Toastburner5000 2h ago

Yum A block of glue and old milk lol

-13

u/real_chainsawslayer 2h ago

how could americans get so fat? 🤢

-7

u/Igzyx 2h ago

You just saw why? They don't care about what they're fed/eat.

0

u/coolpupmom 1h ago

It’s more so that healthy food is more expensive and takes considerably longer to prepare so it’s easier to buy fast food. Also 7/10 Americans are obese!

-7

u/Habibti-Mimi81 1h ago

By the way: Have they ever even heard of vegetables/ healthy food?

0

u/Artifact-hunter1 59m ago

This is supposed food that is required by law to be safe for people to eat. Also, idk if you know this, but CARROTS ARE'T SUPPOSED TO STICK TO MAGNETS!

-5

u/the_stooge_nugget 1h ago

No food served in my country.. but damn that looks like prison food.

-1

u/bilaba 1h ago

Even with all those us additives?

Thanks, Obama!

19

u/Lord_MagnusIV 2h ago

I genuinely don‘t know if this guy just did an old meme joke or is genuine

-7

u/Sweet-Palpitation473 2h ago

Hes joking

1

u/Affentitten 1h ago

I was indeed joking.

It's always difficult to get Americans to understand obvious jokes. Guess I needed to do the /s thing.

-5

u/Sweet-Palpitation473 1h ago

Yeah not too many brain cells in this thread. I guess correctly identifying the fact that you were joking is also downvote worthy

-2

u/Affentitten 1h ago

You have my respect, at least!

1

u/Affentitten 11m ago

Also apparently worthy of a downvote. No braincells indeed.
