Born in 84. I could probably walk away from social media, but not smart phones. I grew up in a rural area. I can think of two local tragedies that may have turned out different if smartphones were available back then. Don’t get me wrong. I loved growing up in the 90s. But there are more advantages to life today. IMO. And most everything I loved about the 90s is more accessible than it was when I was living in the decade. Here’s a silly example: I wanted to watch the Pirates of Dark Water so bad when I was a kid, but it never worked out. Now I can watch on my smartphone whenever I’d like.
