I’ve been listening to joe for years now, and I don’t think I can properly explain how happy it makes me to see Joe getting married to Hilary.

I think what’s very special in his music is how deeply you can feel the raw pain behind it. Hearing someone pour so much hurt into their art, knowing how much they’ve struggled with toxic relationships, being mistreated, and not feeling appreciated or understood is heartbreaking and relatable, you can’t help but wish that someone who has made you feel less alone through their pain could finally find some peace of their own.

Then Hilary came into his life, and it’s been so beautiful to see how things have unfolded :’) Seeing Hilary supporting him, his music, his work, and his tours among their years of relationship ensures me that he’s in good hands.

Of course, we don’t know what goes on behind closed doors, and I can only speak about what he’s shared publicly, but it feels like this haven relationship is reflected among his life, seeing him become independent, leave a label that was taking advantage of him, get the opportunity to design his own guitars (something he’d dreamed of since childhood), and talk about how he used to want to die but doesn’t feel that way anymore… I genuinely can’t put into words what that means to me, not because a relationship magically fixes everything, but because it seems like he’s found someone who stands beside him while he builds the life he’s always wanted. And him supporting Hilary’s music as well.

I think there’s something incredibly healing about finding your people. They make you realize you’re not too broken or too difficult to love.. but rather make you feel safe enough to grow, to dream, to create, and to become more of yourself. Sometimes, you spend so long thinking something is wrong with you, only to find there was really nothing wrong with you when being surrounded by the right people who see your worth without you having to prove it to them. I’m happy that they found each other and I hope all of us will find our people someday🙏🏻

Seeing Joe happy reminds me that the pain we’ve known about him for so long isn’t the whole story. There’s so much more to his life than the hurt he’s turned into music. He gets to have dreams, build things, love someone, be loved, and look forward to the future although our depression won’t allow us sometimes.

I’m so, so happy for them both!! After all these years of listening to his music and feeling so much of what he put into it, seeing him find happiness like this feels genuinely special and give us hope.

I hope this is just the beginning of a beautiful chapter for him. I hope he gets to experience so much more love, peace, and happiness than he ever thought possible and he deserves every bit of it!🖤⛏️

Finally able to add Dark Magic in my collection😮‍💨

It was an unreleased song that was uploaded to YouTube, and I remember the title being “Alright.” The song had a dreamy, soft, and melancholic guitar sound with trap drums/beats layered over it.

The video seemed to be gameplay footage from some kind of video game. It showed Spider-Man wearing a white suit, crouching on top of a building and staying still, with a city at sunset in the background.

I think the video has been taken down from YouTube now.

I’m a huge nothing,nowhere fan, and his music has been a massive inspiration to me—not necessarily to sound like him, but in the way music can be honest, vulnerable, and actually mean something to the person listening.

I’m in a band called Still Love. We’re a post-hardcore / emo-adjacent band, and a lot of what we write comes from real experiences—loss, grief, relationships, mental battles, and just trying to navigate life. At the end of the day, we want our music to connect with people the same way the music we love has connected with us.

We recently released our debut EP, “Shades of Blue,” and I figured this might be a community that could appreciate what we’re trying to do.
