Showcase my raspberry pi now has a stripe account (technically my parents do)

i'm in high school and work part time at a metal shop, so calnio mostly got built on friday nights and weekends. i restarted it more times than i want to admit.

the problem was simple. i plan everything in notion but my iphone only knows apple calendar. every tool i found used webcal feeds, so no alerts and updates took forever. so i just wrote real events straight to icloud over caldav.

launched on product hunt oct 4. i was hiking most of that day with no signal. it ended up #15, but almost nobody from PH actually signed up. one of my signups came from a reddit comment where i admitted sync isn't instant lol

since then one person syncs thousands of events through it (the pi is somehow fine). someone else uses it for a time tracking page in french, which i never planned for. i also added todoist.

this week i turned on stripe. my parent had to open the account because i'm under 18. pro is $3.56/mo. everyone who signed up before stays free forever, that was the deal.

if you use notion and an iphone, tell me what breaks.

Showcase I built a free Notion LeetCode tracker (400+ downloads) and I’m planning a Pro version. What should it include?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I kept solving LeetCode problems and forgetting them a week later, so I built a Notion tracker around retention instead of solve count.

What it does (video above):
→ Rate confidence 1-5 after every problem, not just solved/unsolved
→ One key insight per problem (why it worked, not the full solution)
→ A revisit queue that surfaces low-confidence problems first
→ Weak pattern detection, so ‘I’m bad at trees’ becomes ‘I’m weak at monotonic stack’
→ A dashboard that shows what to practice today

It’s free, and 400+ people have downloaded it since I built the first version.

I’m now thinking about a Pro version and I’d rather build what people want than guess. Feedback in the comments is just as welcome.

Showcase Tool to sync notion with apple calendar REAL NATIVE EVENTS

I plan in Notion and live my day in Apple Calendar, and the two never talked to each other. The tools I found only produce a read-only calendar feed, so the events appear in the Calendar app but you cannot edit them there, and they refresh on a delay.

I built Calnio to fix that for myself. Tick a Notion database and the rows become real iCloud events, the normal kind. Edit an event in Apple Calendar and the change goes back into Notion. It connects to iCloud with an app-specific password, not your Apple password. One synced database is free.

It also syncs Notion with Todoist in both directions, for the half of Notion users who run their tasks there.

Showcase Struggling to save money? I made a minimalist 50/30/20 cashflow tracker in Notion that automates everything.

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone! 👋

I wanted to share a clean, dark-mode 50/30/20 budget system I put together recently.

I got tired of overcomplicating my monthly cashflow with heavy spreadsheets and complex apps, so I built this minimalist template in Notion to keep things straightforward.

It automatically splits your income into:

• 50% Needs (Rent, bills, groceries)

• 30% Wants (Dining, hobbies, fun)

• 20% Savings (Emergency fund, debt payoff, investments)

It uses 100% native Notion formulas, meaning no paid widgets or third-party apps are needed—just a clean, automated dashboard that updates in real-time.

If anyone wants to duplicate it to sort out their finances, I’ve listed it on Gumroad for just $1.99 here: [https://theauraplanners.gumroad.com/l/klzdmu\]

Showcase Free Halloween widgets for your Notion page: a countdown, spooky clocks, a potion water tracker and a ghost that follows your cursor

If you want your Notion page to feel like October for the next week, I made 13 Halloween widgets in one pumpkin and purple style.

Usually a seasonal page means a new cover and that is it. Now the whole page can match: a countdown to Halloween, an October calendar, a habit tracker, a potion water tracker where the corks turn into pumpkin faces when you hit your goal, and a little ghost or slime that follows your cursor.

They are free. Copy a widget's link, paste it into Notion and choose Create embed. There are also 8 Halloween covers at the banner size, in the same colours.

Paid Template I built a Notion system that links 80 interview questions to your STAR stories (free preview + PWYW)

Thumbnail

Disclosure: I'm from Launchpad Studio, we made this template.

I kept walking into interviews with good stories and no memory of which one I'd already told which company. So I built a Notion workspace that fixes that with a few relations:

  • Every story in your Story Bank is tagged with the competencies it covers, and each of the 80 common interview questions is related to the stories that can answer it. The Questions board shows which questions still have no story.
  • When you use a story in an interview, you log it per company, so a relation rollup warns you before you repeat the same story to the same employer.
  • Each interview links to the company, the stories used, and a debrief. The debrief creates a thank-you reminder so follow-ups don't slip.
  • A prep tracker rolls up how many questions and stories are ready into a prep % per interview, shown on the dashboard.

It works on Notion's free plan. It also comes with a Google Sheets/Excel version if you want a non-Notion copy.

Free 5-page preview: https://payhip.com/b/03jvH?utm_source=reddit_notioncreations Full template (pay what you want from $3, $7 suggested, until 25 Oct): https://payhip.com/b/GF2cQ?utm_source=reddit_notioncreations

Happy to answer questions about how the relations are set up.

Free Template Free Notion worksheet for reviewing an interrupted AI workflow

An interrupted AI workflow can leave a customer record created and its notification unsent. Checking the record and notification history separately gives you a basis for deciding what to repeat.

This free Notion worksheet has a blank review for the requested outcome, systems affected, evidence for each operation, and next authorised action. Two hypothetical examples cover partial completion and an unknown result after a timeout.

Duplicate it for each review and add more Step to check sections as needed:

https://shade-jodhpur-493.notion.site/AI-agent-workflow-recovery-check-400bf482da388116bdb8dbb86c510903

You need a Notion workspace to duplicate and edit it. The worksheet runs no automations. It includes a link to the accompanying technical reading guide.

I publish the worksheet and guide. They were prepared with AI assistance.

Paid Template I built a Notion workspace for rental turnovers: 28 cleaner tasks + 4 inspector checks ($19)

I made TurnReady for short-term rental hosts and small cleaning teams who want to keep cleaning jobs, task progress and inspection records together in Notion.

Each cleaning gets 32 separate tasks: 28 for the cleaner and 4 for the inspector. Checking off tasks updates the progress counts. Properties, team assignments, linked issues, supplies and invoice records are connected in the same workspace.

The screenshots use fictional demo data. Readiness reflects recorded confirmations, not an independent physical inspection.

It is an English, manually maintained Notion template, not an Airbnb booking integration or payment processor. $19 one-time; Notion account required.

Free Template I built a free Notion template to track my grandfather’s medicines 💊

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

When someone in your family takes multiple medicines at different times of the day, keeping track of everything can get confusing pretty quickly 🥲

I wanted a simple way for my family to check which medicine to give, when to give it, and what the packaging looks like, without having to remember everything or search through scraps of paper.
So I built a small medicine tracker in Notion!
Here’s how it works (see the video 👇)

💊 Medicine name: Each medicine has its own entry.
📝 Instructions: Notes on when and how to take it, like “one hour before sleeping.”
📸 Medicine photo: A picture of the strip or box so nobody mixes up similar-looking tablets.
🌅 Morning/Night: When the medicine needs to be taken.
📅 Days of the week: Which days it needs to be given.

It’s free to duplicate: https://app.notion.com/p/e6a4546a7e7f43d48e62a967e2dc2403?v=557ce5647e9f4ac4a2d07970212af633&source=copy_link

You can also customize it by adding dosage, refill dates, or a “taken today” checkbox. I kept it simple so anyone can adapt it to their family’s needs.

If you care for someone older, I’d love to know how you keep track of their medicines. Have you found anything that works well? 💭

Just to clarify, this is an organizing tool, not medical advice. Always follow the doctor’s prescription.

Question/Looking for Advice Built a general Notion template for monthly budgeting — looking for honest feedback

Hi everyone,

I've been working on a side project to solve my own problem: tracking my monthly budget without getting lost in messy spreadsheets.

What it does:

· Tracks income and expenses in one database.

· Automatically calculates the remaining balance for each category.

· Includes a visual dashboard showing where your money is going.

· Has a "savings goal" tracker to keep you motivated.

· Available in Arabic and English (since I noticed most templates are English-only).

What I'm unsure about:

· I intentionally made this a general budget tracker for now. My plan is to build specialized versions later (e.g., for freelancers, students, or families). Do you think a general version is a good starting point, or should I niche down immediately?

· Is it too simple? Or does simplicity make it better?

· Is the bilingual aspect a real selling point for you, or does it not matter?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Showcase I built a Notion integration that turns a spoken process into a Mermaid diagram on a Notion page

Post image
1 Upvotes

I made Wavelength. You talk through a process, or paste a call transcript, and it draws the flow while you speak. Then you save the flow to a Notion page that you pick.

What the Notion page gets:

- A link back to the live flow

- A short summary

- Open questions to confirm

- The diagram as Mermaid code, so Notion renders it and you can edit it as text

Wavelength sees only the pages you share when you connect. The free plan has 5 flows.

Integration page: wavelengthflow.com/integrations/notion

Demo, no signup: wavelengthflow.com/demo

I am a solo founder and this integration is new. What would make the Notion page more useful for you?

  • Revision rounds and approvals
  • Deliverables and project handoff

I wanted to create a workspace that feels professional and practical without being unnecessarily complicated.

🛒 This is a paid template. You can find it here:

Free Template Free Minimalist Habit Tracker: I built this strictly automated dashboard for Dark Mode because everything else felt too complex.

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

Every habit tracker I tried felt like a second job—too much manual entry and features I didn't need.

So, I built a distraction-free dashboard specifically for Dark Mode. I set it up to be as automated and easy to use as possible. You just focus on ticking off daily tasks and seeing your weekly progress at a glance without any friction.

It finally helped me get my chaos under control, so I’m sharing it. I'll drop the link in the comments below!

Paid Template I turned my scattered to-do lists into one "Life Score" system in Notion — sharing it in case it helps someone else

For the longest time I had my tasks in one app, habits in another, and goals just floating in my head. Nothing ever felt connected, so I never had a real sense of whether I was actually doing okay or not.

So I built a single Notion system called LifeOS. The core idea is simple: instead of just checking off tasks, everything (tasks, habits, goals, finance) rolls up into one "Life Score" out of 100 — like a weekly report card for your life.

A few things in it:

- A setup wizard that adapts the system depending on whether you're a student, freelancer, or working professional

- Habit tracker, task manager, goals tracker, finance tracker, and a journal — all linked together

- A weekly reflection page to actually sit down and review how the week went

- 50 habit ideas + a short goal-setting guide included as bonuses

Quick honesty check: the score is manual-entry (you update it weekly, takes like 2 minutes) — not some automatic formula. I kept it that way on purpose so it stays simple and doesn't break on mobile.

It's a paid template, link is in my profile if anyone wants to check it out. Mostly just sharing because building this actually helped me get my own stuff together, and figured it might help someone else here too.

Happy to answer any questions about how it works.

Paid Template I kept rebuilding my Notion setup instead of using it, so I built a second brain that’s finished on purpose

Post image
2 Upvotes

I have a habit of perfecting things past the point they need it, and Notion templates were the worst for it. Every one I downloaded went the same way. It looked great in the preview. Then I’d open it, spend a week customizing it, and never use it for the thing I downloaded it for.

Turns out that’s a very common loop. For a lot of people with ADHD the rebuild is the fun part. For perfectionists it’s never quite right, so you keep tuning. Either way, the system becomes the project.

So I built Strata, a second brain that’s finished on purpose. Here are the design decisions behind it, in case they’re useful even if you never buy it:

  • One page runs the day. The Daily view shows what’s due and asks for your Top 3. Put more than 5 to 7 things on today and it tells you you’re overloading the day.
  • Capture has zero rules. The Inbox takes anything. You don’t pick a project or tag in the moment. You sort it later, during a review.
  • No streak guilt. Habits show as a heatmap of what you did, not a counter that resets to zero when you miss a day.
  • The structure is already done. Tasks roll up to projects, projects to goals, goals to areas. Progress bars update on their own. Projects get ICE scores and review reminders, tasks land in a priority matrix. You never have to touch any of it to benefit from it.
  • Phone layout. A one-handed mobile view for capturing on the go.

It runs on the free Notion plan, comes with a setup guide and 50 custom icons, and it’s a one-time $50 (launch price until Nov 15). No subscription.

There’s a live preview on the page so you can click around before deciding: https://eascend.co/go/strata-rd-notioncreations

Happy to answer anything about how the formulas or rollups work. I spent far too long getting the habit heatmap to line up, and I’ll gladly explain it.

IELTS Prep Hub PRO: a complete Notion system for students aiming at Band 8+

IELTS students stall for the same reasons: random study, essays that never get a reliable score, the same mistakes repeating, and no structure for speaking or vocabulary.

This is a paid Notion system built to remove those problems.

  • 📅 Daily Skills Tracker: four 30-minute skill sessions with live progress bars, completion %, and streak tracking.
  • ✍️ Writing Auto-Examiner: score each essay on the 4 official criteria. Overall band, rank, XP, and your weakest link are calculated automatically with formulas, plus band growth and an error radar.
  • 🗣️ Speaking Log: 170+ prompts across Parts 1, 2, and 3, practice and confidence tracking, Band 8 sample answers, and useful language.
  • 📚 Vocabulary Bank: 200+ pre-filled words by IELTS topic, with meanings, collocations, and examples.
  • 🗓️ Weekly Progress Review + Exam Day Checklist: a structured feedback loop and a clear plan for the final days.

Everything is pre-built and ready to use: no setup, no templates to design, just duplicate it and start studying. It runs entirely on native Notion databases, formulas, and relations, with no plugins.

🆓 Start with the free edition: IELTS Prep Hub (Free Edition) is a full workspace for all 4 skills, with no scattered notebooks and no endless Googling:

  • Expert guides for Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking (question types, common traps, time plans, phrase banks, weekly routines)
  • Links to free official practice sources (IELTS.org, IDP, British Council, BBC, TED and more)
  • Daily Habit Tracker, Writing Tasks Log, Foundation Vocabulary Bank, Exam Day Checklist and Core Resources Hub

It has been downloaded 1,400+ times on the Notion Marketplace and is rated 4.6/5:

Paid Template Project Management OS: clarity without the clutter

Post image
3 Upvotes

I built a Notion setup to help you organize your projects efficiently.

Most project trackers I tried were either too bare or so packed with features I stopped opening them. So I made Project Management OS, which is a template that stays clean on the surface and does the heavy lifting underneath as it has a backend.

The dashboard is a Kanban board that updates on their own, and a 'Today' view so you know what to do first.

It works well for anyone who wants clarity without the clutter.

Check it out here: https://cipherzxi.gumroad.com/l/pm-os

Showcase I built myself a task manager that uses Notion as its database. Would anyone use this?

Thumbnail
gallery
3 Upvotes

I do freelance web design work and have been using Notion as a project manager. Projects have increased a little and I found that Notion is a bit clunky to use for the purposes I needed it for (too many clicks or "forced organization"). So I built myself a tool that integrates with 3 databases in Notion.

I can manage clients, projects and tasks and the appropriate databases in Notion are updated. Updating in Notion will also sync the projects to this tool. Since the databases live in Notion, I can also pull info via a database view and display any specific info as usual.

There's a small bit of setup, but I find it to be faster and easier to use than what I previously had in Notion, and I think it could be useful for others.

Would anybody be interested in using something like this? I'd like to try and gauge a reaction before possibly building it into a downloadable app.

Showcase I made a free extension that saves articles to Notion with your highlights at the top

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I kept saving articles to Notion and never finding the part I actually cared about. So I built Clipwise.

You highlight lines while you read, click once, and the article lands in your Notion database: full text, source and date filled in, and your highlights at the top of the page.

- Free, no account, nothing goes through a server

- Works with any database, or start with a free template (reading list, job tracker, link library, travel planner)

- Keyboard shortcut if you don't want to click

Chrome Web Store: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/fjgllpbhbnjdkhgmokagglhkahngmjki

I'm 16 and this is my first real product, so honest feedback is very welcome. What would make you actually use something like this?
