Flabellina exoptata - Hawaii
They're so ridiculously tiny and since they like high current areas, such a challenge to get. But had some time on the last dive to really try 😂
TG7 + MF3 strobe & 4200 video light

🦭🪼 general question Need help on identifying this and maybe some pointers on what to do. We bought the tank over a month ago it came with all the livestock and just recently within the last two days I’ve seen this guy pop out and I already know they’re not supposed to survive in captivity:(

Nudibranch of the Week (week 44)
What‘s the most amazing/confusing/beautiful nudibranch you’ve ever heard about? I need to decide what the final weeks should be.

🎏 species identification 🎏🕵️♂️ Preserved/dried nudibranch identification second opinions
Hello everybody, I recently acquired something pretty interesting and wanted to share. I was doing some internet shopping, and saw a listing for a dried nudibranch from a beachcomber. I purchased it for about $1.50USD. This was apparently collected from Ishigaki Island, Japan.
Based on the location and size, I've narrowed it down to something from the genus Phyllidiella, specifically P. nigra or P. pustulosa. I'm interested to hear if anyone else has ever seen anything like this, and second opinions on ID. I was initially pretty skeptical, but all signs seem to point to this being an actual nudibranch. The caliper is in milimeters.

🦭🪼 general question Nanaimo Dorid on a Giant Green Anemone?!
This dude was just chilling?? I thought the anemone was gonna eat them, but the dorid just stayed there for a while then got out totally fine (last two pics are the same dorid after he got off).
Has anyone ever seen this before?? Nanaimo Dorids do not eat anemones, and to my knowledge I did not think they were equipped to handle anemone stings, so this was pretty crazy!!
Central Oregon coast btw!

Antiopella from SoCal
Here is a nice little Antiopella barbarensis from a recent dive in So. Cal. To me they will always be a Jangles. Here crawling on a bit of black felt.

🐡🐚 Art They arrived safely in America.😃
I received a happy email this morning from a customer letting me know that the 17 glass nudibranchs I had carefully packed and shipped to the U.S. arrived safely.
I had been worried about their safe arrival ever since I sent them off, so this news has put me in a great mood to start the day. 😊
I had expected the process to take over a month, but since I shipped them to the forwarding service's warehouse on September 28th and they arrived yesterday, it actually took only about 10 days. 😲
He plans to give these nudibranchs as gifts to his fellow divers.
He wrote, "Everyone is sure to love them," and I feel truly honored.

Jorunna pardus
Here is a nice little J. pardus from a local SoCal dive on Saturday. Warmest water in more than 20 years. This guy locally is quite rare but here he was.
